@XII_Sniper: I could try the more focused one. Before I upgraded it, I was still lucky if I got anyone caught in it so I figured the wide one would help with that. I'll retrain my powers tonight and see if it changes.
I have noted that Shockwave is a really awesome power for groups. Especially around narrow ledges :)
I'm not sure if maybe there is something else at play but I upgraded Singularity to Wide Singularity and I've noticed that when I launch it at enemies, it's very rare that they actually get caught in it and hover. Just a couple of months ago I was playing through ME1 and Singularity was practically the win button, lifting everyone and they're brother in the air. In ME2 I'm lucky if one guy gets caught in it.
Does anyone else notice this or am I doing something wrong?
*Edit*: Okay what the hell, I was in the Mass Effect 2 forum and click to start a new post. It no longer by default attaches to the same forum? UGH If a mod sees this, please move it to the Mass Effect 2 forum, thanks.
I've started a new game of Mass Effect 2 by importing my character from Mass Effect 1. I know all my choices from ME1 are present in ME2. What I'm trying to find out is, when I beat ME2 and start a new game plus, will the choices I made from ME1 still carry back over into that new game plus?
" You should be able to choose from the disc. But be warned, there are some games where no matter if you install it or not there's no difference. "
I don't think that's completely true. The system is a lot quieter due to the disc tray not spinning. In other aspects, such as load times for certain games, you may or may not see a difference.
They're not necessarily gone though. There are some games that still have them. Mario Galaxy has them but in a different fashion. Once the level is beat, the game is saved and you never have to re-do the level again. When playing the level, you get 3 lives (or more if you've earned them) to try and beat it before the game kicks you back out to the star ship hub.
They're just being used differently and is very dependent on the type of game being played.
I agree, this quest was serious crap. 2 and 4 are not cliche VIDEO GAME rpg monsters. I saw number 2 in Tales of Vesperia and never seen number 4.
What pissed me off was the(omg chrome is effing retarded with the spoiler thing) the Fire Bad quest, the way it was worded, made me think I looking for what the monster destroys stuff with NOT what destroys the monster! So dumb. I found that answer by trying to find the answer to a different quest.

Fire Bad quest, the way it was worded, made me think I was looking for what the monster likes to destroy stuff with, not what destroys the monster! UGH stupid! I found that answer by trying to find the answer to a different quest.
The FIre Bad quest, the way it was worded made me think I was looking for the weapon that the creature likes to use to destroy things, not what destroys the monster! UGH
