Excited about the snowy Canals and Avalanche. I agree with the people above that I'm going to miss the Fuel Depot. Maybe it'll come back in a later map pack :)
Well I'm not much of a fan of random battle rpgs, but if you haven't played Lost Odyssey (X360) that's a good one to get. Besides Tales of Vesperia, it's pretty much the best RPG on 360. Otherwise, you could go back and rock out some Final Fantasy 7-9.
Tomorrow my reserve for Fallout 3 comes in! Just like the rest of the gaming community I am super excited to play this game! I've reserved the Collector's Edition which will come with a metal lunch box, a vault boy bobble head, art and commentary book, making of dvd and of course the game itself.
I'll post some unboxing photos as soon as I get the game home, with a few relative size pictures for the bobble head to give you an idea of it's size. Maybe I'll get lucky and Play n' Trade (franchise owned game store) will call me today instead of tomorrow! :)
I wrote a small review (kotaku style) on Giant Bomb. I didn't give a score but i'm pretty much on the same page as you bingbangboom, with the exception that since my favorite superhero is spider-man, I can turn a somewhat blind eye to some of the problems. Definitely a good game for the fans but for non-fans I agree you should wait till the game is a little cheaper.
That's true, but from what I understand, there are two endings, one for good and one for evil. Wanted to play good the first time through but it seems as if that will be pretty hard. I'm thinking i might be in this position since I fought the Vulture i chose the evil choice to get the achievement. I think when you make one of those choices, it fills your meter all the way good or all the way bad. Before the vulture, my good alignment was all the way up and right after, it was all the way down to black.
Is anyone else having trouble staying on the good side of the alignment scale as you progress in the game? I'm finding that as I power-up spider-man, he's able to wreck cars just like the black suit which coincidentally, causes lots of civilian casualties and civilians in need. Most of the time, there are so many enemies swarming you that it's hard to get locked onto the civilian so you can take them to safety. If you don't, they knock you 10 pts for the evil side.
