The Games You Didn't See At E3

Well E3 was great but they did miss some great games that are worth mentioning for you all to check out.

Alan Wake is the first game. This game is being created by the same people as Max Payne.
Rumour has it that its going to be showed at this years Tokyo Game Show. I hope they release
more info on this game.

I'm not to sure about you but I was always a huge fan of the Tekken games. Tekken 6 is the next game that was missed at E3.
For fans that love the series i'm sure they were disappointed.


The thing about this years E3 is the fact that it was a disappointment. Sure I got all the info I wanted on updates and games but still.  While I was watching Sony's press conference I was thinking how long this was. In an hour and a half they really did not accomplish much. They introduced the video store, God of War 3, and the rest was random trailers that we already knew about. It was all talk talk with no bang bang. If companies want to get people interested in there products they have to make a bang.

It seems that E3 is really not a big self serving advertising gig. It no longer was what it use to be, an event for gamers by gamers. It now seems like all the companies who have money are advertising all they can. I   dont know this is my opinion feel free to share yours in the comments.

Yeah I'm a fan of Tekken and I wanna know how longer we have to wait for a piece of info. The first teaser was shown at E3 2006, ugh.

As a 360 fanboy, I was satisfied by the amount of information Microsoft provided. Still, I think we can all agree it needs more hot chicks.

The notion that E3 was ever an event for gamers by gamers is kind of a crazy one.  E3 is and always has been an event for publishers and media put together by the ESA.  I guess a lot of those people are probably also gamers, but E3 was never meant for people like you and me.  Honestly, I feel like E3 is getting better every year for regular joes like me.  A few years ago, the only information I would have gotten from E3 would have been whatever limited coverage was in my gaming magazine of choice.  This year, there were live streams of all of the big three press conferences, not to mention live blogs and direct video feeds of gameplay and trailers.  The only problem is that publishers don't seem to be getting behind it like they used to.  There weren't really as many huge announcements as I think a lot of people were hoping for.

Oh yeah, Alan Wake. I totally forgot about that...
I hope they release some news about it soon. It looks like it has the potential to become a really good game.

Alan Wake has walways looked awesome... but where is it!? I mean, I'd buy an xbox360 if the game delivers everything they told it would... Tekken 6 was due later this year, wasn't it!?

Not a Great e3... but still, lots of games coming... :)

I agree E3 isn't what it used to be, but it atleast is easier to get information without having an extra 5000 people in the convention stopping games journalists from relaying their thoughts and coverage.
