Wow, what's with the universal hatred of Dark Souls II? I thought it was a great sequel that gave me most of everything I wanted. I liked it more than Bloodborne and III so far, and far and away the weakest game in the series at this point is Demon's Souls. It's not even a contest. It was novel and interesting in 2009 but it really doesn't work well in light of the improvements in the "sequels."

Also, not that it's a definitive figure on anything, but critics tended to like Dark Souls II more than the previous two If rating aggregators are anything to go by. Obviously it might be positive runoff from the rolling popularity of Dark Souls post release, but this idea that II is universally the worst is nonsense. I think I like the vanilla version better than Scholar of the First Sin though.

My ranking would be: Dark Souls>Dark Souls II>Bloodborne>Dark Souls III>Demon's Souls

Hey all, for buying Gears 4 from Microsoft, they sent me codes for all four Xbox 360 Gears games. Thing is, I already own them all digitally and physically (well, apart from Judgment) so I have no use for these codes. None of my friends or coworkers need them either.

These are North American codes. If you would like them, PM me with which ones you would like and I'll update the post with what's available. First come, first served of course.

I just bought one basically because I own 90% of the good games on it through cross-buy or PS Plus. I even invested in the absurdly expensive 64GB card.

I've liked it lots so far, though the best stuff is how sharp the 2D games like Shovel Knight look. It's really too bad it never took off, because I wish Nintendo's handhelds were a bit more powerful (even though I'm a huge Nintendo fanboy.)

Here's hoping the NX is that perfect blend of portable and console that it sounds like it will be.

The only thing that is still missing from the PS4 in my mind is the cool achievement progress tracking that Xbox One has. The rarity is super cool (Xbox One should steal that too) though it's neat to see how close you are to unlocking various achievements.

Unfortunately I sold my Kinect almost a year ago. I just never used it for anything other than voice commands. This game looks pretty cool though.

Their art style looked like trash for a long time. Kinda surprised it never got better. Honestly, I've always been baffled by the direction of the Mega Man series. 1-3 each got better on the NES by adding smart things, 4-6 were mostly obvious retreads, and X was the most kick-butt game in the series, but since then it's been odd design choice after odd design choice, with really mixed results. I honestly think that Inafune is probably extremely overhyped as a designer, in spite of the handful of really stellar Mega Man games. He seems to not understand what makes a good game, unlike, say, Miyamoto.

Also, anybody know when the Kickstarter codes are being sent? I haven't seen mine yet.
