MormonWarrior: Best of 2007

  • The best game ever made. Read my blog.

  • I enjoyed this game start to finish. The Wind Waker was probably my favorite Zelda game stylistically speaking, and this game used the DS to its fullest ability. I love that it wasn't a lazy game at all, but a hugely imaginative effort.

  • Great way to wrap up the trilogy story, and a much-needed improvement from the messed up Halo 2. Still among the most fully-featured shooters out there, which I don't understand. Why can't other series (Call of Duty included) understand that?

  • I didn't initially like it because of technical problems, but I discovered the best way to play it was to play to its strengths and focus on what's good - great story, amazing writing, and best of all one of the best sci-fi universes ever designed. Those BioWare dudes really know how to make great fantasy.

  • An absolutely stellar campaign with tons of great moments and incredible pacing. Oh, and that multiplayer is cool too. Kind of a watershed moment game.

  • This was a fantastic game to enjoy freshman year in college. It made for great gatherings and was the logical step up from what Harmonix established with Guitar Hero.

  • The Orange Box is a joke, as Half-Life is terrible garbage and Team Fortress 2 is only worth playing on the PC. However, Portal is super charming and inventive. It's short but very good.

  • I love the games like Phoenix Wright and this on the DS. It's a perfect fit. I thought the story was fantastic, and I loved the noire art style and setting. I'm a sucker for mystery books, so this obviously works out for me.

  • I feel it's the weakest game in the trilogy, but it's a great fit for the Wii controls and a lot of fun regardless. And very nice looking.

  • The first good game on the Wii and honestly a lot of fun, even though it could've worked on the GameCube just fine too. I liked the style. Some of it was so super random. Running on a hamster wheel for five minutes straight? Ridiculous. Anyway. Lots of fun and neat looking.
