Games I've beaten. Need I elaborate? Obviously, there are games out there that you really can't beat. Some of those I have counted (such as Animal Crossing or Mario Kart) because I feel I finished all of the available content that would normally constitute "beating" a game.
By the way, this list is very, very scattered across platforms and times. It's just as I think of them.

Probably my fondest memories of any Final Fantasy game are attributed to this one. I never beat VI, so I can't count that. Though IX is pretty pretty good...
I once got to the very end boss by some stroke of luck even though I had skipped 80% of random encounters and was at a low level. It was utterly impossible to beat him, and I had to restart. I ended up beating it. Great game. Nonexistent story.

WHY IS THIS GAME WELL-REGARDED?!? It's terrible! I played all the way through it, expecting it to get good at some point and it's awful! Bad shooting, bad platforming, dumb enemy AI, nauseating camera movement...the only thing I can think of that I liked was a couple of the characters were kinda cool and the end when the gravity gun can grab dudes is alright...except it lasts like twenty minutes, and that twenty minutes is better than the rest of the game combined.
PC, pretty decent. Not the best. If I had had a better PC or controller, it would have been more fun I think.
One of my faves. I beat it all the time 100% and even have an S rank on the XBLA version. I think I've beaten it once a year (on average) since its release. At least.
I didn't like the change in style. It's full of variety, but it's almost too much.

Pretty stupid. I just wish they'd make a new Mega Man that was pure 2D hand-drawn sprites and with some kind of DMC-style combat system with classic MM stuff. This was obnoxiously unbalanced and brutal in ways that no other Mega Man games have EVER been. Again, I've played and beaten most of them.

Meh...I wish it didn't have co-op, and that it was scarier. It's just not that fascinating. That hasn't stopped me from playing it obsessively though.
My vote for best game of 2009, though Uncharted 2 and Assassin's Creed 2 are both pretty strong contenders.

I really, thoroughly enjoyed this game in a special way that I don't think could happen again. It's really too bad - it had such a neat feeling to it, like kinda dark and creepy and gritty while being bizarre and wonderful all at once. Now it's just kind of dated.
Gameplay: worse than 2. Totally doesn't fit the setting. Story: best in series. Graphics: fantastic. Parody videos: priceless.
My favorite game in the series, if only because it's gorgeous and the most inherently enjoyable. It also wraps up loose ends more or less in the way they should have. Snake should've died, though. And does everything need to be attributed to nanomachines? Really? I liked it when it was a bit more supernatural.

My favorite GBA game, right next to Mario & Luigi and the original WarioWare. I've also beaten it probably...eight times? And I've cleared it in under two hours.

Freaking amazing. Best GameCube game, with RE4 and Wind Waker. I got 100%, beat it on hard mode, and did everything possible.
Really...lame. The controls are what they are, but the game itself is lame as crap. That didn't keep me from getting 100% and unlocking everything.
It's great, if not quite as awesome as the first. The "Ing" stuff was sort of lame, especially considering Nintendo did a better dark world years ago with Link to the Past.
Worst in the series. The voice acting is bad, the expanded universe is really stupid, and the fact that Samus doesn't talk doesn't make no sense. Especially since she narrated Super Metroid, Metroid Fusion (and had dialogue!), Metroid Zero Mission...she's not a silent protagonist. She's just not had anyone to talk to. It should stay that way, if Metroid: Other M is anything to show. Otherwise this game's okay, if not shallow.
It's great, but I really think Zelda truly took off with Ocarina and became a masterpiece series. What am I saying...this game rocks.

Nowhere near as good as X or X2, but still a quality action platformer. Not worth keeping when it's worth so much. I just learned something in economics that makes that opinion make sense.

Holy crap that freaking terrible ending...I'm not totally satisfied with the way this game turned out but it's still pretty great otherwise. That multiplayer actually sucked me in for a while too. I guess being decent at this kind of game helps that.

I beat it three times - the first blindly, knowing nothing, the second to get the "normal" fourth ending which unlocks the "true" ending. Really insane but definitely worth it. Mind bending stuff, and surprisingly dark. Can't wait to try Zero Escape.

Huh. I forgot to put this on here I guess. It's freaking awesome and gets better the more you play it. Like Steely Dan music. Tough to get into right at first but richer and richer the more you put into it. I'm on my second playthrough and trying to get access to the DLC I already purchased.
Another I haven't bothered to add. It's great! The main questline is actually pretty good too, which surprised me a bit.
