I'd pay for certain ones, like GDC or E3 hotel room episodes that have lots of guests.

If A Life Well Wasted or Out of the Game came out more frequently than it would be those. I was going to say Weekend Confirmed, but then I remembered Irrational Behaviour / Irrational Interviews. Some podcasts are good enough to keep for future listening and the stuff from Irrational is among them.

Between 65% and 70% of the people that completed it did so in the first 24 hours. That seems like a good metric for predicting the end result for future community quests. If we don't hit 65% of the target on day 1 then we aren't going to get it most of the time.

The topic title reminds me of the time I was on my way home from school and there was 2 ducks fucking in the middle of the road. We had to drive around them. Turns out that around 60% of the duck population is the product of rape.

Mirror's Edge. The design of the platforming in that section is so crazy. Running through and up The Shard, getting forced out onto some roofs half way up to dodge a sniper squad, then getting locked in the server room with the heavy armoured machine gunner and a squad of freerunner cops. And then in the end jumping off the roof of this 100+ storey building into a helicopter only to then jump out of the helicopter as it crashes into the building. And lets not forget the part where you had to hide in the elevator shaft and dodge all the high speed elevators as you escaped to the office section. All that in a 6 minute speed run is so crazy.

I'm usually busy during Thursday Night Throwdown, but sometimes I'll watch Tech News Today.

Uncharted 2's hanging train was pretty fantastic.

When you compare the opening level of Brutal Legend to the rest of the game the opening level seems pretty fantastic. Shame the rest of the game is such trash.

Killzone 2 when you wake up on the frigate and look in the mirror, then walk around the ship and meet everyone before getting in the shuttle to storm the beaches of Helghan. Then when everybody's shuttles are exploding around you as you crash land on the beaches and have to face a rocket launching enemy and mounted gunner right away. It's a lot like the first level of MoH Frontline, except it's in space and invading a planet instead of a land/sea battle in europe.
