Liking it so far, it feels much more streamlined and less daunting than the first, though some might find that means less depth, i suppose. It's taken a lot of mechanics from Legend and put them to good use. Couple of bugs but nothing that can't be ironed out in a patch or worked around in the meantime. Looks great. It's probably more of a casual 4x experience than most, but i like it. Busty frog lady faction are a bit odd. As are the tree people.

Does anyone know if Guerrilla have spoken about the visual influences for the Osram? I feel like the other tribes in Horizon have fairly obvious aesthetic touchstones in terms of recognisable cultures but I can't quite pin down the Osram look.

Try looking in a cave? Sometimes even barren planets have the odd flower in their cave networks.

Digging holes, as has been suggested, is a good short term solution. Plus environmental protection upgrades can be charged with titanium, so piss off a few sentinels and feed off their corpses. If its extreme weather planets specifically giving you trouble, there are really only two reasons to be there: collecting rare, purple resources and grinding out the survival milestones. if you're not there for those, just leave! Go somewhere else. Realising a planet isn't worth your time is an empowering lesson to learn in NMS.

Interview in the Independent and a stream of the new album http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/music/features/65daysofstatic-no-man-s-sky-music-for-an-infinite-universe-soundtrack-exclusive-album-stream-a7171481.html

If you know 65, it feels very much like a natural progression from Wild Light. It all sounds huge, expansive and weirdly positive in some places, at odds with the usual dystopian edge the band normally have. Which isn't to say that isn't in there as well...

So far Asimov and Red Parallax are the stand outs, but I've only listened to it once.

Whether or not the game is good, this album came out of it so I'm going to call it a win.

Fly around, explore planets, find alien that looks like a willy, name it something vulgar. A+ 5 stars.

Thank you so much Austin! You've encouraged me to pursue a Masters in critical and cultural theory. I can't wait to see what's next for you!

Armoured Core or Chromehounds. Mechs or GTFO.

Gundam IBO gets way more fighty once they get into space, so stick with it.

As to your poster, considering there's a canonical Dutch Gundam shaped like a fucking old timey windmill a Gundam shaped like a bomb isn't too out there. Nice work duder.

Anything with mecha in it. Kinda just want to watch Austin playing a bunch of Armored Core? Seems like it'd be cute.
