I would love a "smart" mode, where it's up to you and the AI player to make a good match. You would have counters, high-spots, and signature moves but they wouldn't affect your "HP" (though there could be a stamina metre which would be recovered with restholds, that could null the excitement of a match) and it'd be up to you to entertain the crowd, rather than beat the guy.
No matter what different perspectives we might have on whether P3 or P4 is better, I'm sure there's one thing we're all unanimous on: Where the heck is Persona 5?!?

I've never been interested in the sim-type of racing game, but Forza 3 has totally peaked my interest. With the reviews almost unanimously positive for the game, it seems like it's not whether Forza can match up to Gran Turismo anymore, it's whether Gran Turismo can match up to Forza.
