Considering how often we've seen games removed from store fronts due to licensing, that would mean you'd never be able to play that game again if it was on a server and that server was just shut down. Games have their online pulled due to low amount of players even if it's not that old. Will we just see games disappear because they're not popular? I think Cloud gaming is something that can co-exist alongside traditional hardware but definitely shouldn't replace it as there are just too many questions. I'm a fan of Game Pass because I understand that I'm renting those games but with a service like Stadia, you're paying full price for something you may not have access to in the future.

I didn't answer in the poll but from what we've seen with the back comp stuff on this new gen, it was software pushing the hardware beyond its means. I didn't own a PS4 but I may pick up a PS5 to play the likes of Spiderman, TLoU2, GoW, etc at higher framerates.

THPS 1+2 is $20 cheaper and is a full on remake and this is Activision. Nintendo didn't even do the bare minimum. This is supposed to be a celebration of Mario; it's a franchise that deserves so much better than what this collection offers, especially when modders have been doing this stuff for years and better than Nintendo's $60 product.

Andromeda is a better game now than it was at launch but that doesn’t make it a good game unless they changed the story and the horrible dialogue and writing.

I don’t think it’s the case at all. Watch the PS5 reveal. They were pretty positive about that show while I personally was pretty down on it. I didn’t come away from that showcase that the PS5 is something one should be buying this holiday season but maybe in 2021 or 2022 instead. The Ubisoft conference has nothing going on (seriously, how are you supposed to be excited for the same cookie cutter games) and the same for EA. I haven’t really been keeping up with the crew since lockdown as they put out so much content while I’m also keeping up with games, films, YouTube and other media all trying to keep my attention. I don’t come to GB for faux enthusiasm. That’s disingenuous to who they are and to what they stand for. I had zero interest in CoD. It’s been a series I’ve been done with for years but when pretty much everyone on staff was excited about the new one, it got me to take notice and it’s been a game I’ve played more than any other this year.

I was excited about Legion due to being set in London and as a Londoner, it’s nice to actually see some representation which feels long overdue for one of the worlds major cities. That said, I think it looks pretty bad and that CGI trailer before the gameplay stuff was so fucking cringe. I haven’t really played much in the way of Ubisoft since Mario + Rabbids but that felt so different from typical Ubisoft which all seem to be open-world games that don’t have the polish. I saw a clip from Legion where the player forced an npc’s bike to hurtle forward, crash and send them falling off but it was just so janky looking.

@tp0p: Spiderman is launch, R&C they didn't put a date on.

I'd say it was a better showing than the Inside Xbox showing (not that would take much) but I wasn't blown away either. So many of the games shown look like they're 2021 or beyond so what other than Spiderman is coming with the PS5 launch that's not third party?

I stream 99% of everything on the site but I don't have much time to watch things these days due to work and socialising so downloads really help with my commute, especially keeping up with Mass Alex. It'd be a shame if they ever got rid of downloads.

Due to Horizon's open world nature as opposed to Motorsport's being track based, I find the former a lot more difficult to wean myself off of certain assist. I don't really see myself turning off the driving line just because the course can go over all sorts of terrain and I find it quite difficult to really know where the game wants me to go. Heck, even with it on I've missed plenty of check points because I wasn't focusing on the line.
