Don't play Front Mission Evolved. I hated it.

Instead, try Phantom Brigade for an experience that's closer to the proper Front Mission formula than Evolved. I too lament the lack of a proper Front Mission game.

STALKER franchise and its announced sequel. That first game was so foundational to modern survival games, and I'm always reminded of it when I see certain features in games. From Escape from Tarkov to Halo Infinite.

DualSense for me. I'm a haptics fanatic. Just pump audio through the controller's rear channels to get the good feels.
