Can someone explain where the heck that mechanical humming comes from when I'm out in the field? It's like a slowed down version of one of the songs from a trailer. Either way it is driving me batty.
Yeah I've never quite figured out how becoming a Merc some how de-politicized their actions. In Peace Walker, Big Boss talks a lot about the 'fight' and combat as being the sole place where a soldier was truly alive/themself. I think that's because he really emphsied Boss' wilingness for the 'Mission' in the end and that was all that mattered since time/circumstance makes friends enimeies what to.
I love Big Mama's whole retcon/exposition jump that characterize all this as an ideological struggle between Zero-Big Boss but I'm not sure Kojia actually fullfils that viewpoint with Peace Walker and TPP (but Ihaven't gotten that yet).
In the abstract (and as someone who never played the original MG games) these seem like wild and crazy Kojima twists. I'm curious though of how this is all told for one. And also about ow to view this franchises, in chronological or release order. MGS4 dose a and the church scene doe a whole lot to square the "war" between Zero and BB as an interesting ideological struggle but this kindo f changes that emphasis.
Curious to see how inspire ends up working out for abilities like lifetap as opposed to say fireblast/heal/whatever druid is called. the latter seems to combo better since they can effect the board in a more immediate fashion.

New Key Word: Inspire
Minions with the inspire keyword possess a special ability that may only be activated by using your Hero Power. Deploy them in force to gain tremendous value, or drop them at just the right time to give your play the perfect boost. Can you really inspire an ogre? Absolutely! It just takes finesse (or a ham).
Interesting to see how Inspire effects the hero powers.
