10 Great old and new games you may have not played

This is just from the top of my head, but I thought I would list out some fun games that I've played over the years that, when mentioned nowadays, draw raised eye brows and questioning looks. (These are in no particular order.)

List items

  • The best hockey game ever. Smash A & B to fight!

  • Sure, you, the game enthusiast, my have fond memories of this game, but many others have no idea what a "battle toad" is. It was a blast, and pretty much doubled as a 1v1 fighting game when you got bored of helping you friend with the current mission. ;)

  • One of the craziest and fastest "racing" games for the SNES. I rented the hell out of this game... now regretting I didn't buy it.

  • The SNES Super Scope was awesome. There, I said it. Yoshi's Safari offered pseudo co-op play, with one "driving" and the other shooting. I loved it.

  • One of the most fun 2-player battles games on the SNES, period. Jumping out of the suits to have little "tiny man" fights were hilarious, and jumping from an exploding suit to a new one with an enemy on your tail was intense. This game should not be missed.

  • Sure, it's not exactly obscure, but this is a game many have forgotten. The cheats made this game especially fun. Turning Vectorman into a mouse pointer FTW.

  • One of the best platforming games on the N64 next to Mario. Much like it's 360 "Nuts and Bolts" title, this is one excellent game that tends to be passed over for some reason.

  • Probably the best platforming game on the Xbox. As of writing this, it's available as a download on XBL for the 360. Go get it.

  • A very slick throwback game featuring a pixel cat in a blue world of baddies. Classic platforming with the twist of occasional minigames. A bit short, but well worth the couple bones it costs.
