Olympic animation

Well I've not watched a whole lot of the olympics, just the occasional clip when someone British wins something or at least get's close to winning something.....  However the BBC title sequence is pretty awesome so I thought I'd post it here.

The animation is by Jamie Hewlett and the music produced by Damon Albarn who both collaborate together to make the band known as Gorillaz. The characters seen in this clip that are performing the athletic moves are from Hewlett and Albarn's latest work -  'Monkey: Journey to the West'.

Wow I had no clue where they were going with that vid the entire time. lol pretty cool though.

I love the olympics. Im sure they wouldn't be as fun to watch though, if I wasn't american. (not to brag, im serious) It would be frustrating seeing my team not be so good.

It isn't as good when you don't get any medals, but we've won a few now (3 golds now I think), but I don't think we are gunna win any in the athletics events :(

Wow, that's awesome. Not sure how many medals Norway got, but we're the best Scandinavian team.

I saw this on another website and I was intrigued because I hadn't seen anything like it. I was just as intrigued the second time. It's really, really good! And quite unique, I might add.
