Nice Twilight (love those movies by the way). It's actually pretty awesome. Shouldn't have told us it was fake though lol...

It's not fake, he just ninja'd his way into Nintendo's offices and stole some concept art for an unannounced project, because that's clearly a real cover.

Sneaky Bastard.

If this comes out ever, there will be no excuse for turn based pokemon games ever.

EDIT: also, ever ever ever.

Your logic fails to compute.

I'm guessing because Pokemon have four moves and Smash characters have four moves, they could just use it as a very lazy base for a Pokemon mod.

Google "Super Smash Bros Rumble v0.6" ;)

I really, really dislike most of your suggested non-Nintendo characters for Smash Bros.  Also, I don't see how Ouendan could possibly be represented other than being an assist trophy.  They would just look goofy as a character.

Well following that logic, they could have done that following any of the Smash Bros. games.  Especially given the inclusion of Pokemon Trainer in the latest one.

Ooh, so is this the first Super Smash that's a 2d fighter without polygons? Interesting... ha, too bad it's fake.

Also, very very very. I can't express how lazy that would be.

Not to shabby.  I wish they would hurry up and make this for DS already.

I was about to make a thread about this same thing last night. Well, glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks its a money making machine.

I smell a cease and desist.

Nice fake boxart.  Now go to Nintendo HQ and give them a stern talking to.

That makes 3 threads today talking about this.  Shows how much we want it.

A Super Smash Bros. DS?  Seriously, why would anyone want that?  What's wrong with playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl that you absolutely need it to be on a handheld?

Because many of us like to play games on the handheld.  As a multiplayer game, out and about it would be a lot of fun.  The same could be said of any game for a handheld.

That boxart looks really cool. ^_^

I love how they're pixelated. Great work, man.

I love playing games on a handheld, games that wouldn't make much sense elsewhere or that were created just for the handheld.  I love Phoenix Wright, The World Ends With You, Elite Beat Agents, Rhythm Heaven... all these DS Games.  Following the same genre as SSB; I love Jump Ultimate Stars and even the Bleach fighting games.  But when the game is available on a console and you can play what would undoubtedly be the better version of the game instead of some Super Smash Bros. Melee port, I don't see the point.

Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines is an excellent example.  No one, who has an Xbox 360 or a PS3, would bother playing the game if there were no story elements implemented into it because they could just play the better game which is Assassin's Creed 2 or, to a certain extent, the original Assassin's Creed.  But because there are connections between the plot with this PSP game, fans of AC will want to play it.  This doesn't happen with SSB DS.  There would be nothing that is better in that game than its console counter-parts other than it being on a handheld.

If it would exist, it would have to have some transformation like Phantom Hourglass or Spirit Tracks have had.  You would never see some port of something like Ocarina of Time on the DS because it just would not work.  It just works as a console game and not as a DS one.  Even if SSB is a multiplayer game, I still believe it would not have the charm or the amusement that the console SSB have because of the platform's limitations.

I agree. I mean seriously the controls would be annoying. Imagine doing all the dodging and such with the Ds's L and R buttons and D-pad, it just wouldn't click. I'm pretty sure they would take a lot out too and its laggy enough in the Wii version.

eh some of them just didn't make sense, its like when Suda51 wanted Travis Touchdown in. It wouldn't make any sense because a lot of his character would be removed, for example bad language would be removed which he sais all the time.
Also I rather it if each new version of smash brothers had different third party characters. For example for the next one take out Snake and Sonic and put in another 2 or 3 third party characters

I was hyped... until i realized it was fake :'(

I would shit bricks if that game was released. Imagine this. A Super Smash Bros. with online... and the service actually worked and was efficient. God How I would play Smash so much more for the Wii if the online was remotely good. How can it be that terrible? The DS service is greatly better.
