Not that it's helpful, but I managed it recently. Took me maybe an hour or so, I agree with the above sentiments, seems kinda luck based (doesn't help that the controls are wonky either).

I doubt you're doing anything wrong, just sometimes the stars align and the birds decide not to grief you/the balloons all line up.

In case anyone is interested, the guy who directed Sword of the Stranger (Masahiro Ando) is also working on a new kickstarter project called Under the Dog.

Hopefully the action sequences transition over, as I'd love to see some more Sword of the Stranger style action scenes in other works...

@gatehouse: I think I read somewhere (I could just be making this up) that his channel was featured way more than it should've been due to some bug with Youtube's recommendation thing. And it just kinda snowballed from there.

Since he's always on the front page due to the sheer amount of subscribers he picked up, all he needs is a crazy thumbnail and video title and he'll pull views from anyone who happens to visit Youtube that day. I like to think it's some sort of meta scenario where millions of people are watching his videos trying to figure out why millions of people are watching his videos...

Like you, I also don't see the allure of his videos, but I don't actively dislike him. He does also sometimes show off games which I think deserve more attention, so props for that.

Are there any PS1 games you like? I use mine to play more PSP/PS1 games than Vita games...

And like the other guy said, if you do go for the DS XL, suggest waiting for the new one.

Yeah, I was a little confused for what they were going for in Gundam's case too. Hajime kept going on about how he sacrificed himself so they didn't starve to death, but if he was going for that, why didn't he straight up admit it? (Suppose it wouldn't be much of a game if he did...).

Don't you remember Gundham's entire speech before his execution? His conviction was to not give up on living. If he were to out himself as the murderer, that would be a contradiction to his values.

Sorry, explained it poorly, I totally get why Gundham didn't out himself, was just irked by the way Hajime interpreted it, since I'm playing from his point of view. (I could be remembering it wrongly though!)

I liked the way they changed up the twist for the second game. In Danganronpa 1 the characters were all kind of jerks, killing people for their own selfish reasons. The twist being they were all friends and were tricked into being terrible people. While in DR2 I felt most of the killers were portrayed as more sympathetic with the twist being they were tricked into forgetting what terrible people they were.

I agree, but remember that in 2, the killers are perfectly willing to let everyone else die by not just admitting to their crime right away. So they aren't entirely sympathetic, save maybe for in case 5.

Yeah, I was a little confused for what they were going for in Gundam's case too. Hajime kept going on about how he sacrificed himself so they didn't starve to death, but if he was going for that, why didn't he straight up admit it? (Suppose it wouldn't be much of a game if he did...).

The other thing that kinda bugged me was the rules state a trial is held after the body announcement stuff. In the 3rd case where Hajime discovers the bodies alone, could he not just tell everyone to stay the hell away, so if no one else sees the bodies, there's no trial, since there's no announcement? I dunno, again, maybe I'm over thinking it...

Played it for 4-5 hours straight over the weekend, and now my eyes hurt...

Everyone I've met online is a robot, HOW CAN YOU GET PERFECT CHAINS WITH ALL THE JUDGEMENT POWERUPS GOING OFF!?

Aaaaaand strongly recommend using a good set of headphones or hooking the 3ds up to some speakers to get the full effect, as the 3ds speakers are terrible.

Does the DLC from the first game carry over?

Doesn't seem like it, I bought a couple of songs for the last game, they don't seem to be present/available to re-download.

@irrelevantjohn: Sega apparently, which kinda makes sense.

Also if they don't open with the video below, they've missed a trick as far as I'm concerned...
