Hey Abby, I recently started playing through these Nancy Drew games because I've tapped pretty much every other adventure game source, and I got to say, they're actually decent. So far I've played Blackmoor mansion one, Alibi in Ashes, Warnings at Waverly High, Secrets of the Scarlet Hand, and Treasure at the Royal Tower. So if you happen to see this, take note that you got at least one person into playing Nancy Drew games. The Sherlock Holmes games (except Devil's Daughter) are still better, though. :)
Play the Sherlock stuff. It's good! Except Devil's Daughter.
Sad to hear that. Is it "avoid at any cost" bad, or "it's OK but not for anything near full-price" bad? The GameStop near me frequently has it on sale for $25-$30.
Hey, bud. Personally I would recommend buying it around 20 bucks if you can. It's a competently and stylishly developed game, but it's really easy and full of unnecessary action-sequences and mini-games. Crimes and Punishments is a good game, though.
Uhm, excuse me, my dudes. I have to come out of the shadows and say that as someone that that recently replayed Kotor I and II, Kotor II is undeniably the better. They both play like arse, but II is more interesting and the story more dynamic. I"m not even sure why there is a dark path in the first game, it has no effect on your party until the last hour. At least in Kotor II it actually feels like your party members are alive and react to things. Plus it's about Sith Lords. Darth Nihlus. C'mon.
