normal players get it for only half the week or so

tried a couple of the state colleges but dropped out of one of them (3 all together if you count only going a day or so for the other two). Currently in a Technical College and will graduate in December with a degree in Web Development and Design.

in the end it comes down to whether the parent is either informed enough or cares enough to buy the game for their kid. if i had a kid that's 8 or 9 would i buy them a game like GTA IV? Hell no. But would I buy them a game like Halo? Probably, since I've never really understood why they are rated M to begin with beyond some language and alien blood. And to your point about the parents being concerned about the sexual content more then the violence that's just the way things are in America because of who founded this country. Go to another country and you'll find the complete opposite.

was with gamespot till the whole thing went down with Jeff then followed Jeff and Ryan through the Arrow Pointing Down podcast till GiantBomb was born.

everything i hear makes me never want to go to it. the only thing with windows 8 that i'll get will be the surface pro.

i check the auction house every few days, but haven't actually played it in more then 2 weeks.

my gut answer is persona 4, but i'm sure that would get boring after awhile. in the end i'd probably go with civilization (either 3 or 4) or maybe GTA San Andreas.
