Classic Games on the Apple IIGS

Just taking a trip down memory lane and remembering the games I first played when I originally became a gamer, in the mid to late 80s.  I think these are the biggies I spent my time on, but there's a dog fighting game (planes) that I can't quite recall the name of that I spent a lot of time on.  Let me know if that rings a bell for anyone....

I played Shadowgate with a friend on the NES. I don't think we ever beat it.

Karateka I played in computer class, and was astonished that it was so good when compared to the horrific 7800 version.

Choplifter was always cool, especially in versions that had the full roster of enemies and obstacles.

Hero Quest I-- I only played in the claymation re-done version (the box cover is the one featured in the image by the name). It was OK, but I remember it being one of the games that made me a bit bitter about this move toward modeled 3D instead of pixel art.  Still hate that, actually.

Zork I never got very far in. I think I would do better in it now, just because I've played more adventure games and know how they work. Then I would just be slaughtered all the time.
