This game looks absolutely miserable. The graphical fidelity of the maps remind me of Haze for some reason, also. I get the idea that they knew this game would absolutely bomb, so they decided to say it's "canon" and revive Wesker just to get some idle interest from fans. It does not seem to be working though.

Looks like this game got shut down, point blank.

I had a lot of fun with...House of the Head,

I'll bet you did. I think that was definitely a truck stop only 'game' though, and definitely not an official Sega release!

Oh yeah. House of the Head is a muuuch different game than the one sega made.

Guess that'll teach me not to internet while tired.

I spent a lot of my younger years in a semi-truck so truck stops were very familiar to me. And they always had sick ass arcades. I had a lot of fun with Time Crisis, House of the Head, Cruisin' USA, Hydro Thunder and the like. Silent Scope also. Lots of pinball too.

There was this one game I only played once and I only saw it once. It was like House of the Dead, but instead of guns, there was a sword. You pick up this half sized sword that was motion tracked by the game to slice the shit out of zombies. I didn't get very far into it because the sword was weighed down by a cable hooked into the machine, and I was pretty young. But it seemed rad.

Then there was another game. It was a police lightgun game where you picked up a pistol and it tracked your movements, so you could take cover and the like. I only played it a handful of times but it was good fun. Kind of expensive though. That shit eats through your quarters.

Never really seen an arcade outside of a truck stop, so I never really played much else.

I have no idea of what's going on or what this is all about, but I can only imagine the Ubisoft executives unable to sleep tonight at the thoughts of tying this into Watch_Dogs.

The first game was incredibly boring. The gameplay was still pretty decent. As much as they downgraded the graphics the hacking still felt like you had a lot of power.

There just wasn't anything to do. And it's Ubisoft brand open world design, meaning there's collectibles everywhere and a whole lot of "go here do that" type stuff. But nothing really to do.

That's just Ubisoft design as a whole. So that's absolutely not changing for the sequel. And also I hate Ubisoft. so I'm not interested in the game in the least.

Austin is one of the best. He filled a void I didn't know existed, and fit in like he was here from the very beginning. Good luck Austin. You will go far.

@white:You never see him die, and then again, Death has never stopped Kratos before.

They said that God of War is going to be what its like when an immortal god settles down. Whether he is actually immortal or not, I don't know, but the dude did survive his own suicide, so I guess that kinda answers that.

One thing that I find weird, maybe you guys will too, is that Kratos just straight up moved to Scandinavia. Like, I always imagined the world of God of War not to be historic but rather based in some God Realm. But to find out that the GOW franchise has just straight up be set in one location means that, yes, while the other games were happening, the Norse gods were chilling and doing their shit too, as well as the rest of the God filled world. So when all of the gods in Greece died were exterminated, Kratos bounced to Scandinavia and settled down there, thus the new GOW game.

Interesting but I don't think this was the original idea under any means. David Jaffe said that one of the plans they had was, when Kratos killed Zeus, a portal would have opened up and bringing him into another realm. But here, in the new game, they shared the world with other gods the whole time.

Makes me wonder if we will see any sort of a clash with multiple other mythologies in this game as well, or if it's strictly Norse.

I was actually a little confused by this DLC. Before I had managed to get my hands on it the common thing I kept hearing was "It's Mass Effect Citadel levels of Witcher celebration!!" but, eh, not really. In fact, I felt like I walked through the entire main quest relatively quickly, even with goofing off for other things.

Was it good? Fuck yeah it was. Some of the best of Witcher 3 all in one place. So much goodness. So much fun shit. But I don't think people remember just how intensely packed with fan service Citadel was. So I was expecting something like that. I'm not disappointed, really. I just kept waiting for a sudden mass cameo appearance by Geralt's closest companions.

Blood and Wine/Witcher 3 ending spoilers:

I am disappointed to learn that only one person can show up after you finish the main quest. In some endings, Dandelion can show up, Triss can show up, Ciri can show up, and Yennefer can show up. I understand that different Witcher 3 endings can affect that, but I was so sure that all of these guys would pop up for one big send off. So far the only thing that happens is I go home and Yennefer runs into the bedroom, stands in the corner for a while and then disappears, only to do it again. It's actually kind of disconcerting.

I think everyone puts too much stock into rumors these days.

That's just a nasty rumor.
