Before people go ranting about Microsoft it could be good to see how Sony will handle this same stuff.

At the moment people are trying to persuade Sony to not have any kind of fee for used games. But it might be that the publishers want to have some kind of DRM on their games.

In the end Giant Bomb has to make some kind of a profit in order to go on. The premium subscription that I pay for translates to about 4 dollars a month.

Jeffs jar time alone is worth the subscription.

This game deserves a quicklook. Kinda wish that more people would be aware of this game.

The dialogue is actually quite funny and the story isnt bad either.

For a game that costs 14 euros this game has pretty high production values.

You know people shoot other people in real life withouth any provocation.

I really dont think that killing people presented as pixels in a game is the real issue.

I just read an article that said that there are over 300 million firearms in the united states. Over 30 000 people in a year are killed by firearms (United States). By real firearms not the imaginary ones in games.

I just think that Drew is actually a spy and Giant Bomb is just the cover for his activities around the world. The trip to North Korea was actually a mission to destroy the nuclear program of North Korea.

Seriously speaking I just think that people like Drew because the guy dedicates himself to learning simulation based games like few other people do. Making your own manuals is something that not many people have the patience for.

I think people are at this point a bit prematurely throwing the "Xbox One" under the bus. The MS conference was mainly aimed at the press and public in general.

Unlike Sony´s press conference there is a bit over 2 weeks to go until E3 starts. If Microsoft would have announced their upcoming game lineup at this particular press conference they wouldnt have much ammo left for their E3 press conference.

This way they got the tv and media stuff out of their way and can hopefully show a lot more games in the upcoming E3 conference. Of course it is nice to speculate on stuff but I would wait until E3. Then we can judge which one (Sony) or (Microsoft) is the "winner" of E3.

Sony also still has a lot to prove on their front. They did show some games but we didnt even see the console at that point and I wouldnt call the upcoming killzone game for PS4 a showstopper. Also Jonathans Blow´s witness doesnt do anything to me gaming wise. I think adventure games are in a pretty decent shape at the moment with "the Walking Dead" game and the upcoming adventure game from Double Fine.

This is a very nice addition to the Giant Bomb content. Also we need more dog related content on the Giant Bomb site.

Here is the obligatory dog picture:

I wish publishers would stop trying to make certain game series more action oriented. In a lot of cases it tends to backfire (Dead space 3, Resident Evil 6).

There is always room for improvement but not all game series can be what Call of Duty franchise is. Often it seems that when publishers try to chase that elusive goal for maxium profit they tend to lose more in the process than they bargained for.

For example Homefront was a very costly mistake for THQ. SWTOR proved to be a costly mistake for EA. Publishers should try to offer us gamers different experiences and not try to fit all games into the same mold.

The dog wont die. In countless action movies people get killed in all sorts of horrible ways but the dog in trouble will always get rescued.

Besides you cant kill "the Ghost Dog". He is the best of the best. The elite of the canine world.

Dying isnt even in his vocabulary or in his barking.
