" Wow that's crazy, but it's a shame about the lack of views. Maybe ask Jeff to post a news story about it? That would create a ton of hits. "
I've already given him a little nudge nudge, but I didn't say anything like "Dude, I think people need/want to see this." I'm just hoping for the best...

" I don't know what's more disgusting, the fact that you beat Ninja Gaiden on a dance pad (You fucking psychopath) or the fact that I really like this Sonic The Hedgehog theme song :S "
haha... that Sonic song is good, despite it being from a terrible game!
" Also, people probably type in Mario in Youtube a lot more than Ninja Gaiden, so your Mario video naturally got more attention. "
That wouldn't explain how Castlevania easily got 50,000 views, though. Even Giant Bomb had heard about me beating Castlevania, because they read about it on Kotaku... but I don't know how Kotaku found out about me! I don't know how to make the magic happen again. Mega Man 2 got less than 8,000 views and Castlevania III got less than 4,000 views. Do the gaming news sites just don't care anymore? I spent eight months on this! "
The wider audience cares a lot more about something the first few times they see it. By now the gaming sites won't care as much and the views will probably be less although the core group of people who always want to see it will continue to watch (me included). Doesn't tarnish the achievement though, man. Gooood work. "
That's a good point. I'm just worried that there are people who would be interested but haven't heard of me. I mean, I've inspired people to try other games before on a dance pad (I've actually seen someone beat the Deku Tree on Ocarina of Time on one before!), so I know that I what I do is influential. I don't feel like this is a waste of time, and that's why I want people to know. I mean, look at how much of a response this thread has had: people are still interested, people are still drawn to it, and that's why I feel like the word needs to get out.

" Man Duder, you are a fucking mad man. Props to you, this must have taken the patience of a zen master. Try posting this to Reddit under their gaming subreddit, that might garner you some more views. "
Thanks! I might try that out!

Crap! I was going to reference that in the video, but I forgot to! Thanks for reminding me; I'll do that sometime in the future, all in tribute to Ninja Gaiden. Trust me, Ryu Hayabusa has had his fair share of getting knocked into pits!!!

Don't worry, I said the same a few months ago, and that was with my hands too! I can do it easily with my hands now, and you can too someday!

1. Mastered? Eh, I still can't beat Contra or DuckTales with the dance pad (DUCKTALES! Seriously, who would have thought such an easy game would be harder than Castlevania on a dance pad???), but I will agree that this is totally impractical. 2. Thanks! 3. Yeah, I know. :)

Thanks to those who stuck around and waited for me to finish this! Most of the games I played previously took around 2-4 weeks, but this one took over eight months!
Does anyone know how I can get some extra views on this? I'm trying all I can and can't even break 300 right now, and yet I hardly did anything to pimp out Super Mario Bros. and it gained 120,000+ views. I don't know how YouTube works!
I spent eight months--EIGHT MONTHS--trying to beat this game, and I finally did it... on a dance pad.
Tell your friends about this! 200 views isn't nearly enough for an accomplishment as great as this!

I am a fan of the Anniversary PSP edition of FF1 (though I do NOT like the port of it on the iPhone), so knowing that FF4 will get the same treatment in graphics and how it will also include The After Years is very exciting!
