To be clear. The Eurogamer article mentioned nothing about Japanese language tracks. It claims however that the 360 version most likely will have better aplha effects and more MSAA while not getting the full HDR that the PS3 version will have. I myself will take the 360 version because that's my only option, and I don't really care about some minor graphical differenses anyway I just want to play the game. "
Ah, I see now. I didn't read the other articles originally. The Kotaku article mentions that they might include a JP language track on the PS3 version, but its not confirmed. I hope they do. And being the non-fanboy, underdog rooting American I am, the idea of balancing out my 360 purchases with some PS3 ones is appealing.

@kingchris28: Yeah, I would recommend FF VII as long you're into retro/classic games. It's important to remember that lots of things that were a wow factor back then like the graphics aren't gonna wow you today. But like someone else said, its a nice history lesson in games. A lot of now RPG cliches were started by FF VII, including the spiky haired main character with a huge sword. I personally played through FF VII again a couple months ago on the PC and I think it holds up very well. People that complain about how often random battles occur obviously haven't played any RPGs on the NES/SNES.  If anything I would recommend starting with FF IV and VI, then play VII so you could see the evolution of the genre and gaming in general. If you're into that. Either way, hope you enjoy it.

" Or could this be Amazon selling stock at a "reduced" price before Sony drops the MSRP  to less than $350?  Do they know something we don't? Hmm... "
I really hope it's this.

Weird that they're all wearing bright red jumpsuits. This looks like something ppl 10 years from now will look back on and be like "what were they thinking??"

Bushido Blade!! It could be extremely awesome with motion plus, but I wouldn't necessarily want it with motion controls, regular controls would be just fine.
