Soul Calibur IV,
Resistance 2,
Resistance: Fall of Man
It seems that it’s been way longer than it has since I’ve had the chance to blog.
Well I played Soul Calibur 4 for a bit and I still like it, the only thing is I want Yoda!!! It’s retarded how they have Vader and Yoda exclusive to each console. I don’t play the game much anymore, unless friends come over, I did try to play it online a few times and it felt really sluggish, I’m not sure if it’s the network code or that I was playing someone in USA/Europe, it just felt a bit sluggish and delayed.
From SC4 I go on to Resistance 1 fall of man. Well since the sequel is coming out at the end of the year I decided to finally get a FPS for a console game. (I know wtf hey) it seems ok but nothing special. I think I’m at the 5th stage or something, unsure but it’s pretty straight forward and nothing really to it. I hope that the 2nd one is a lot better because I feel bored when I play it.
Anyways this is just a quick post, sorry if i have typo’s etc, i should have proofread this. Stuff it.
Later!

As QuakeCon continued there was one thing that was for sure: people were not expecting what Unaware Steve was bringing to the event. But was Steve ready for what they had brought?
As we've seen in the past, Unaware Steve has a way with the ladies... or at least he thinks. With some of his tactics he throws down you will be in shock as to why he can't score. He truly was a man amongst boys at QuakeCon.
www.screwattack.com go there now!!!!
funniest game site ever!!!

This post relates to:
Soul Calibur IV,
Star Wars
This last week has been crazy busy at work. I’ve been doing the whole wakeup, go to work, get home, sleep thing and finally it’s the weekend and time for some quality gaming.
I demand you be on PS3 soon!!!!
I’ve had such a hard time these past few weeks deciding on what system to get Soul Calibur 4 on. One day I’ll be adamant I’m getting it on 360 then I will change to PS3 within minutes. Fuck I hate decisions!!!
I even made a forum post on giantbomb when it first launched and everyone was saying both systems.
The 360 has better online (well for Americans) achievement points and my favourite Star wars character Yoda.
Playstation 3 has the better controller for fighting games, better graphics and sound for my setup (I’ve only got my PS3 using HDMI, my 360 has composite cables) and I heard that Yoda will most likely end up being downloadable.
After a long week of thinking about what console to get it on I decided on PS3, I hope Yoda does get added in, he looks so badass.
Anyways, today is Sunday and I played a few hours of SC4. I unlocked all the characters except the space near Vader, but I think I read that might be reserved for Yoda, I haven’t really read up on it. I played through most of the modes and at current time I’m working my way down the tower. I played through Story and Arcade a few time and it’s a pretty good game.
Nightmare looking oh so BADASS!
This isn’t going to be a review but at the moment I heard on a podcast that there are a lot of balance issues. I haven’t played online or against anyone decent. (I played my 5 year old, button smashing) but other than that it’s been against computer. The majority of the time I’ve been using Nightmare. I always loved his style in the older games and nothing much has changed. I do like the spin kick off the ground combo and his brute power with the big swings.
About 15 minutes ago I finished story and arcade mode with the Apprentice. He seems like a pretty awesome character. I had a funny moment where I was doing his in the air 4 hit combo and I knocked my opponent out of the ring and I followed (while in mid air). It wasn’t arcade mode and I had someone to fight after, so I lost that round. ;(
Well first impressions the game is very good. Once I play vs. real people I will have more of an idea if this game is just eye candy or a really good in depth beat’em up.
Thanks for reading <3 you all long time.

1942: Joint Strike,
Wrath of the Black Manta
What a week, I’ve been so busy with work, haven’t been able
to play anything except 1942: Joint Strike. The updated graphics make that game
look sexy. It’s great fun so far and I’ve only played for a total of 1 hour I
think. Anyways at the moment I’m on my way out of the house so have a movie!!
Wrath of the Black Manta!!!
Ninjas? Little kids? Bad Hair? It's all in this game.
You have not written any reviews yet.
