Hi everyone!

It's that time of year again! The Giant Bomb community is teaming up for Giant Bomb Community Endurance Run 9, which runs from April 12th-14th. You'll be able to watch multiple streams at nearly any given time of the day as we try to raise money for Pencils of Promise. They're a non-profit organization that builds schools and increases educational opportunities in the developing world (Ghana, Guatemala, Laos). Last year, we surpassed our goal of sending 75 kids to school for a year. This year, we're looking to send at least 130 kids to school for a year, providing them with digital learning materials, safe infrastructure, and sanitation training. In order to reach that goal, we need to raise $10,000!

Here's what you can expect to see on my stream during the event:

Donkey Kong Country 1, 2 & 3

FRI @ 4:30PM-8:30PM PT // SAT @ 9:00AM-2:00PM PT // SUN @ 9:00AM-2:00PM PT

I will be doing regular playthroughs of all SNES Donkey Kong games!

Donate at least $20 and I will replay the current level with the controller held backwards for 15 minutes, or until I complete it.

Donate at least $40 and I will poorly sing some songs from the Donkey Kong cartoon.

Hollow Knight w/ Feet

SAT @ 4:00PM PT - 8:00PM PT

I'm gonna do my best to try and complete Hollow Knight from start to finish with my feet! I'm using an easier, modified version of the any% speedrun route to complete the game. I'll be using a fightstick controlled by my feet. There will be a camera showing the controller. Come cheer me on, I'll need all the help I can get!

I'm participating again in our yearly fundraiser -- Giant Bomb Community Endurance Run VIII! It runs from Friday, April 20 (after Unprofessional Fridays) until Sunday, April 22 (midnight). During that time, you'll be able to watch several of us streaming games over at http://www.explosiveruns.com/. We'll also be rotating streams on https://www.giantbomb.com/chat/, but we can only have 1-2 on there at a time.

We're continuing to support Pencil of Promise this year. They're a non-profit organization that builds schools and increases educational opportunities in the developing world (Ghana, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Laos). Last year we raised enough money to send 50 kids to their WASH program. This year, we're looking to send 100 kids to school for a year, providing them with digital learning materials, safe infrastructure, and sanitation training. In order to reach that goal, we need to raise $7,500!

Here's what you can expect to see on my stream during the event:

Bloodborne - Donations decide the weapons

Friday @ 2PM-7PM PT // Saturday @ 6AM-1PM PT // Sunday @ 6AM-8PM PT

This will be my main game for the event. I'm doing a normal playthrough, but I'll only be allowed to use 1 Main Weapon & 1 Offhand as decided by your donations! Here's how you can vote for them:

Check out the options below, and pick 3 Main Weapons and 3 Offhand Weapons that you would like to see me use during the playthrough. Make a donation here, and make sure to leave a comment with your choices. Please rank them from most desired to least desired.

I will be multiplying your donation into points towards the selected weapons. The highest point total wins, so a bigger donation will help ensure that I have to use the weapons you've selected for me. For example, donating $20 will give 60 points to your 1st choice, 40 to your 2nd choice, and 20 to your 3rd choice.

Sidenote -- most weapons cannot be obtained immediately, but I'll do my best to acquire them as quickly as possible. If the winning weapons are not immediately available, I'll be using the 2nd place weapons until I'm able to acquire the winners. If that affects your decision, I've included the estimated time to acquire in the images below. There's some descriptions of each weapon too!

Divinity Original Sin II - Custom Campaign

Friday @ 7PM-9PM PT

This will be a custom campaign designed by an experienced DM specifically for the GBCER! I'll be joined by some other GBCER participants. It should be really funny, so don't miss it!

Foothead (Cuphead)

Friday @ 3PM-5PM PT

If we manage to raise $4,000 as a team by this time, I'll be attempting a complete playthrough of Cuphead using only my feet! So far during past GBCERs I've managed to play & complete Super Meat Boy, Spelunky, and almost completed Ori and the Blind Forest. This might be the hardest game to play with my feet to date, so be sure to get your donations in to make this happen! Please note, your donations towards other incentives will still help us reach this one... so that's double the value! Also, if you want me to paint my toenails for this (there will be a footcam), make a donation and let me know in the comments! Nothing super complicated please, my toenails are only so big!

Celeste Race w/ Amlabella

Saturday @ 8PM-10PM PT

I'll be doing a race with fellow GBCER participant Amlabella! We'll be going head to head in a standard playthrough of all chapters until end credits. If we raise $5,000 by Sunday night, we'll be doing the same race again with our feet! It will be a total disaster.
