Top Ten Upcoming Games

There are so many games coming out in the next year or so. But, how do you decide which ones are hype worthy or not? Well, here's a list of those games that are most definitely worth you hype.

List items

  • We don't know much about this game, but what we do know excites me. I have done an entire editorial on this game(which I may post later), but in short, it's a post-apocalyptic co-op disaster shooter with a strong conversation system said to rival Mass Effect. I won't get into to many details since I'm posting an editorial soon, but I can say that this has been my most hyped game since announcement.

  • Ok, how can you not be excited for the end of the Mass Effect Trilogy? I mean, this is self-explanatory. It's Mass Effect, but this time we actually get a good, solid ending. Plus, how can you not be excited for Mass Effect!?

  • More Dragon Age! That is all.

  • It's Battlefield. That's all I need to say. The original series is back in the modern day without all of the wit and humor of Bad Company, while retaining the awesome multiplayer action. I'll be truthful. I'd prefer Bad Company 3. But, I'll take what I can get. At least it isn't Battlefield Heroes 2.

  • The Darkness was one of the most surprisingly amazing games I've seen in a long time. The action was great, the characters were fantastic, and the story was phenomenal. The sequel is bound to be at least a fraction of the awesome.

  • This open-world action game is right around the corner. The sequel to a highly overlooked game looks so different from the predecessor that it can barely have the name Crackdown. Yet, the game looks just as fun and action-packed the original.

  • The third epic adventure from Team Ico. We don't know much about the game, but if it's a fraction as good as the team's previous games, then this will be the heart-wrenchingly emotional ride of whatever year it releases.

  • Fallout 3 wasn't quite what people expected. With the closing of Black Isle half way through the development of Fallout 3, Bethesda decided to start over when they got the Fallout license. Now Obsidian, founded by ex-Black Isle members, is at the helm and it looks to carry on the great classic Fallout fiction while retaining 3's fun gameplay.

  • Another trip into the action-packed world of Gears. With the possible conclusion of the story supposedly coming next April and the possible implementation of a new Unreal Engine, fans have a lot to look forward to.

  • The greatness of Final Fantasy's storytelling with the fun of Kingdom Hearts. What more could you ask for?
