when you say hud do you mean the green circle in the middle of the screen? if thats the case, the upper left quatrant of the circle indicates your ammo for your left arm weapon and right quadrant of the circle indicates your right arm ammo.

your bottom left indicates your armor points, your bottom right indicates your energy for boost and weapon.

I don't really have a preference of which part to start when building a mech, but then again when it comes to pvp I still have a way to go lol

"Do you pretty much have to choose one or the other style in this game?" for pvp, I think most people find success in medium or heavy builds(team match), but if your dueling light builds are viable too. When your going against computer, I think it doesn't really matter that much, the enemy AI are pretty dumb.

@ghostfactory: I think I read from one of the review that the learn curve of this game is like climbing a wall lol, but don't get discouraged, I feel it is mostly the awkwardness of the control thats the real difficulty haha.

Anyways what you should do right now is

• Find a team that is atleast lvl 50, because all the buyable parts are unlocked once the team level reaches 50.
• Unfortunately I would have to recommend you to grind on order mission 10 for some money, go dual shotgun with KE armor( the enemy ac takes 6ish hits to kill and I think it only have KE weapon) the whole mission should take less than 30 seconds and gives you 200k . The of whole point of this is really for you to have access to more parts in the game, and try them out to see what fits you.
• Go to free battle to practice, most people are really helpful.

Do you have any specific questions? I don't really like answering general questions lol, I kinda want to know what you know so far.

PS do you know you should always be in scan mode to recover your energy? it is a pain in the ass to keep switching in and out but thats what you gotta do, other wise your energy regeneration is too slow.

Matthew: The general expectation was that the season reset would 'reset' territory control in Armored Core V, and was widely expected to also bring patch 1.03.

Matthew: However, neither of these things have happened. The community is a little confused at the moment. We'r elooking for some more information on what this 'season reset' was intended to be, as so far the changes have been... well, nothing, save for a reset to the Mercenary leaderboard.

Takumi: What season reset does is it reverts any territories with 0 AP to NPC control, recover any territories with at least 1 AP to full AP, and reset mercenary ranks.

Matthew: Yes, we seem to understand that much so far. However, our concern is that this is far from what the Japanese version/servers are experiencing with a 'season reset', which is a full territory reset. The chief concern, however, is the lack of the patch. The US and EU/AUS version of Armored Core V is still set to 1.01, with no information from Bandai Namco concerning the next patch.

Matthew: Do you have any information regarding this patch?

Takumi: Unfortunately, we do not have any information regarding the 1.03 patch at this time. As for the season reset, what happened in the US servers is exactly the same as the Japanese servers.

Takumi: Season reset is not meant to do a full territory reset.

okay so.. since the situation is like this, everybody should focus on 1 territory for invasion mission. I recommend team Fass's territory, since last night most members were grinding invasion mission in that area anyways.
