I had this problem with chrome version Version 25.0.1364.97 m. I updated chrome to version 25.0.1364.160 m and the full screen videos seem to work fine with no frame rate problems. Press the "customize and control" button in the top right of the browser, then go to "About Google Chrome", and it will auto-update.

You aren't alone. I was a subscriber at launch, so I'm a "preferred" player now, but even that is pretty limited. At first, they limited all non-subscribers to only two action bars, which was probably the most egregious example of the segmentation. I believe they've since increased it to four because of harsh feedback, but yeah, their FTP model is kind of jacked. It technically will allow you to do what they promised (level to 50 and see the entire story for your class), but you will not enjoy the journey nearly as much as a paying subscriber. I tried to get back into it, but the restrictions on rested XP and reduced XP from just about everything else made leveling take longer than I was willing to accept.

That said, the Jedi Knight story line is as close to KOTOR 3.0 as you'll get. So I would recommend that one if you decide to stick with it.

Killing Prince Malchezaar with a guildie hunter so he could get Sunfury, with Brad steaming in the background. All I heard was people screaming, alt-tabbed out just in time to see his last pistol shot hit the mark. Epic.

The Wii was such a hit for Nintendo because of the relatively inexpensive price and the very innovative controls (at the time) which led to the casual crowd getting on board. While the U may still be relatively inexpensive, it doesn't have any other real "hook" other than being new. The weird tablet control just seems completely unnecessary, like the Kinect. Unless the games lineup (lackluster so far) can get people on board, I don't see the system selling super great. Time will tell, I guess.

@Nigglenummy: I know Ender's Game spawned a bunch of a sequels, but what about Speaker of the Dead in particular makes it stand out? Considering how many sequel/spin-offs Ender's Game had I wouldn't know where to start reading next to follow up Ender's Game itself.

Speaker for the Dead was the first sequel to Ender's Game. It takes place like 20 years later. It's a pretty big shift from the military intensity of Ender's Game and focuses more on the development of Ender's character and his relationship with a new species. It's very emotionally engaging and has a more intricate plot (i think) but it's missing the tactical action and suspense from the first. It definitely has more interesting characters. Both books are great though.

There are four books in the original Ender "quartet", and an additional one in 2008 made it five chronological books that directly follow Ender as a main character. Check out the series page on wikipedia.
