@mike I know you didn't ask me, but here is the list. http://www.swtor.com/free/features

I also bought it at launch and one of the things that has kept me from playing for more than a few days (since it went F2P) is that is has tons of restrictions. I'm fairly certain quickbars are locked after a certain amount, but I never found it an issue with my level 40 something character. I think I was close to finishing the story on that character and also close to hitting the original max level cap. It's probably worth a try. The only thing I am worried about is that the Story based leveling that was mentioned in the original post is actually the same one they've had for a few months, which requires a subscription. I remember they were making a big deal about how they boosted the story xp for subscribers so that you'd never have to do a single side mission if you didn't want to and that sounds like the same thing described here. I thought about subscribing for a month and trying to do the story on all the classes I was interested in, but honestly...I'd rather just play Elder Scrolls Online or The Secret World rather than drop more money on monthly fees. I've been doing that since Anarchy Online came out and I'm just kind of done. Please let us know.

@donchipotle: Thanks for sharing this! I went back a couple of months ago, but none of these changes were there and I burned out pretty quick. Still lots of silly stuff locked behind a paywall, like the ability to hide your helmet. I did spend some coins on most of the essential stuff, though.These changes seem worth checking out. I do like the story stuff a lot.

Why not just have two choices without throwing a personal opinion on the end of them? I keep seeing polls like this and I don't understand if it's a joke or what.

@mentaldisruption No problem!

Also, anyone with a Vita or PSP who hasn't played Z.H.P. should check it out. It plays like Shiren the Wanderer, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Izuna: Legend of the Unemployed Ninja, etc. It's from NIS and has a funny and crazy story. Great game.

Hard Reset has a cool looking environment in it.

Forgot: I actually voted for Deus Ex. I thought the first one was good, but liked the 2nd better. I know most people don't like Invisible War, but I really get into walking around and just checking everything out and I thought it felt like more of a cyberpunk game than the first Deus Ex. Human Revolution is probably my favorite of the series, though. Shadowrun on SNES or Genesis (they're both way different) are probably my favorite cyberpunk games. Shadowrun Returns seems good and I need to finish it. Dreamfall is one of my favorite games of all time, but I actually didn't even know it fell into the cyberpunk genre. System Shock 2 and Omikron: The Nomad Soul are two more of my favorite games, though I'm not sure if System Shock 2 falls into the genre either. I've been playing Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers, for the 3DS, off and on for awhile now and it's pretty damn awesome. It has some great 80's style synth in it, too.

It's still a form of disrespect. I'll never understand why so many people are okay with it. PS4 is plagued with that bullshit, too, so don't think it's just Xbox Live. I had it happen to me in several different matches of Battlefield 4 last weekend, even though I was jumping servers after each match or two. I found a solution by deleting the game from my PS4 and playing it on PC instead. Does it still happen on PC? I'm sure it does, but I can't remember seeing it happen in all the different MP games I've played on PC.

I loved playing this on PS3, but I would never buy this collection. The framerate on PS3 was really bad in the first areas of the game. I think I remember it being better after you leave the first area and get to the town, but I feel like there is something that I am forgetting. Something that left me wondering if they were going to patch the game to fix it. They never did, even though tons of people and I dropped Rising Star (Swery pointed us to message them as it was out of his control) messages on twitter about whatever the problem was. Aside from that, they later released an ultimate edition, though I'm not sure if it was called that, that had all the DLC. Early digital adopters like me? Nope, you didn't get it unless you bought it again. Hey, that's okay. I still had an enjoyable experience and was able to completely finish the game 100%.

I then went on to buy and play the PC version, which DID have all that extra DLC. I've invested 8 hours into that game and I still haven't finished the 2nd part, which is reporting to the police station for the first time. I'll start collecting some of the early cards and then, at some point, the map will glitch out when I look at it and then it's immediately followed by the game crashing. This was with DPFix installed, too. Very frustrating that they left the game bugged out AGAIN. Shame on me. Never again.

I completely agree with you and I will only play a MOBA if I can play vs. bots. For the longest time, I never played MOBAs because of all the things I heard about the toxic community. I'm not 100% anti-social...in my early 20's I was playing Star Wars Galaxies and other early MMOs that required group play and I was completely fine with it. Not to sound like an old man, but gamers today can be really negative. Instead of pointing out what you're doing wrong and kindly offering suggestions, it seems like people would rather just tell you to kill yourself or that you should just stop playing. Point being...I decided I was done playing with assholes and most of what I play is with people I know or, in this situation, bots.

If you play with bots, it's just as fun, in my opinion. I ended up playing quite a bit of dota 2 because of this and even played a good number of matches vs bots with other friends, like you mentioned. I ended up moving on to Heroes of the Storm because I found the lack of buying items much less stressful and I was able to have a better experience overall, but I still think Dota 2 is a good game that people should give a chance, even if you're only going to play vs. bots. It can be a lot of fun! Both of these games now allow you to change bot difficulty. (Heroes of the Storm recently updated to allow this) Not only that, but it's not like it's a new idea, anyways. You could play vs. bots in Quake and Unreal Tournament, too, and while it wasn't quite as fun and challenging, it was still enjoyable!

My main point is...I agree and more games (all games?) should have bots. If you've decided to pass on MOBAs because of what you've heard about the toxic community, then try playing one with bots. You may be surprised at how much fun you can have. For free!

I was just wondering if anyone is playing the PC version and if you're enjoying it? I received a notification on steam saying I could try the beta since I had owned a previous game in the series. I've always really liked Treyarch's spin on the series with Black Ops, but I bought Black Ops 2 on steam and ended up quitting pretty damn quickly for some reason.

I hit the steam forums and it was just full of negativity, so I have decided to skip it for the moment. Then I remembered...*Oh yeah, the steam forums are almost always negative anyways. I'd like to know what my fellow duders think, though. (To be fair, a lot of the negativity on the steam forums revolved around people *supposedly* already hacking in the beta, but I never know if it's people who are just getting their butts kicked or if actual aimbotting, etc is happening.)

Please share your PC experience with the game! How long will the beta last on PC anyways? Anyone know?
