Another vote for "I'd prefer MP3 to listen to at work" here. Waiting patiently but anxiously.

They did a "teaser" on Facebook the other day. The next DLC skins will be Classic Harley, Teen Titan Cyborn, that Pre New 52 Wonder Woman costume with the jeans and leather jacket, and Black Adam (although this is just the popular speculation from what I saw).

Freaking hate that we don't get Black Canary or any Watchmen....Scorpion is OK but I'd have rather kept it comic book crazy and had them put in like Howard the Duck or something.

I'm a big comic fan but no idea about MOBA or really any MMO type games. I thought it would be fun to see if any other comic nerds were in the community and see who we're hoping to see in the Infinite Crisis game.

Especially in light of the kind of disappointing and safe roster in Injustice to see some of the weird picks already is cool! I know we saw that cancelled Gotham By Gaslight game but I didn't think we'd ever REALLY see a Gaslight Batman let alone Joker and Catwoman! Zatanna seems like a refreshing choice too.

I've love to see Black Canary, who is my favorite DC character after Batman. Do you think they'll go totally bananas and have John Constantine (and if so, how much would it cost to get a Keanu Reeves skin in the game?!).

Regular, Undead, and Chainsaw flavors?!
Regular, Undead, and Chainsaw flavors?!

I just want to see some weird versions of the usual suspects (Superman, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn when she's announced) because it's kind of old seeing the same costumes on the same characters over and over. I did see a new Wonder Woman costume in an email they sent about requesting Beta access where she was in a kind of punk/rockabilly get up with a chainsaw on a stick...anyone know where this is from cause I'm totally lost and didn't see it on ComicVine.

Well thanks a bunch Mr./Ms. Th3irdEye! I've never heard of Curse before but I got a code (sadly there's someone in their community using my name....grrr!). I look forward to trying it out if I get picked.

I've never done a MOBA before, do you play? Is it easy to drop into or do you need to know a lot of short hand lingo (like DPS, tank, agro....which I had no idea about for years until my WoW playing friends sat me down and told me about the MMO version of the birds and the bees).

@sdharrison: No FreddieW is amazing and seems to have a real passion for gaming culture in general.

I can't reply to anyone person specifically but I really like Yahtzee. Sure he's not a serious game reviewer but on an entertainment level he's really funny to me and my kids.

I didn't click through to see the rest of the list but I feel like Penny-Arcade should be on there given their expanding network that covers the deeper end of the industry and what games mean as well as their whole Child's Play thing. I would put them in the top 3 over anyone else on that list.

I am also a huge admirer of Greg Miller and ANYTHING he says (if I'm allowed to talk about rival company personalities).

The benefit of a quick look is that it seems many times someone hasn't played the game and someone has been so it's kind of a window into the game for a potential buyer. For instance, I wanted nothing to do with DmC (Devil May Cry if you're old school) until that quick look went up. Hearing an honest first reaction to the game in it's retail form from one of the Bomb-stars is really entertaining too as sometimes there is real comedy gold in there and it's just nice to hear guys I've been listening to for years get really excited about something I'm really excited about too.

I'm pro Quick Look and I approve this message.

Good to know. I just checked with Amazon.co.uk and they don't offer it but the weird thing is the guy at the end said something like "thank you for respecting confidentiality of future promotions". It was incredibly odd but I can't imagine with the release date coming so soon that he'd be referring to something like an unveiling since it's been listed online for months.

It's not listed online at Zawi either. I guess maybe special editions are just not as big a deal to other countries as it is in the USA. I wish they would just have one or two versions everywhere.

Oh well, first world problems I guess.

So up front I'll admit to being a sucker for special editions....I can't apologize for the mental illness or whatever you want to call it.

That being said I really don't like the collectors edition from the US because no way is Wonder Woman making a chump of Batman going to be something I pay extra for (not because of the whole women being weak and crap that people argue about on twitter, just because BATMAN-end-of-story-he's-BATMAN-nobody-beats-him-ever).

The UK edition however is awesome but doesn't appear to be for sale anywhere except Amazon France which I'm doubtful will work because of the PAL vs. NTSC stuff I've read conflicting information about online.

Anyone else even interested in the Collectors Edition and have an opinion about US vs. UK? More importantly, anyone have any ideas where the UK edition may be for sale online?

@Milkman said:

Question: if we as "gamers" or whatever are so sure that there's no link between violence in real life and violence in video games, why are we so afraid of an official study?

Because I don't trust THIS president to be the one to give it an unbiased eye. A President who wants to use Executive Orders (my understanding designed for vital actions when he can't meet with Congress in a timely fashion, such as in a war scenario) to do anything he wants and who seems too ready to severely restrict or worse basic freedoms like the right to bear arms and possibly the freedom of speech via games, movies, music, etc. is not the kind of leader I picture giving a fair shake if he doesn't like the results.

Let me paint you a picture from my conspiracy theory section of my mind: the study is done, it's inconclusive at best like half the studies done. Well we can't take action based on "inconclusive", he thinks to himself before deciding that for the "good of all mankind" he MUST bend the rules and save our children and future generations. Before we know it we have either restricted the content allowed in our media and arts (also known as censorship) or dare we go one further and fudge the results in such a way to lead to overly restricting gun ownership laws....no need to ban weapons now, we can do that in our third or fourth term!

Obama is a liar and he is NOT considerate of what's best for the democracy he leads but rather in doing what he wants when he wants and fuck you if you disagree. Just wait and see, we'll see him start tightening the belt around America soon and we'll all be choking to death on a dictatorship unless people start questioning the shit he does on a near daily basis.

It's interesting to me that Halo 4 has a giant orb/ship vital to the story and here we have Bungie with a giant orb/ship at the core of it's story.....so who copied who and when do we get to see the legal finger pointing begin?

As for this "Destiny" game...it looks interesting but if it's an MMO I don't care as that's just not my thing. Shooter sure, MMO nah...I'm a lone wolf, screw the social aspect of gaming.
