I was pretty disappointed in this game. It sounds like a great idea, but once I got used to the speed of weapons and dodging and saw every enemy type, the only challenge was the occasion where there...

Awesome to see this kind of stream out of GBeast finally, and this is an especially good one!

Health doesn't tick down in the original Doom games on nightmare difficulty. No clue where that idea came from.Nightmare has fast, respawning monsters.

Austin brought up Flower, Sun, and Rain, which is a game that I love. I feel like the way you talked about it made it sound like it was poorly-designed, but the game is kind of actively hostile to t...

Seriously, you can use fuel to slow down. You don't have to come in at the highest possible speed and dump a ton of fuel right before you do it.

  • Nishastra posted a message on the post Quick Look: Arslan: The Warriors of Legend.

Austin, you should really play some Hyrule Warriors. It's still the best non-Empires Warriors game.

Man, I really need to get around to playing this someday.I love VNs from the late 80s-early 90s (especially with awesome FM Synth music), even if the "you needed to look at that thing three times" ro...

You guys should do an Unplugged of Traveller, the space game where you can die in character creation.

This Quick Look is exactly what I expected, in numerous ways.I'm just going to rattle some things off. Ghost in the Shell was a manga first. The movie was an adaptation of the manga, though it chang...

Okay, so... This is the second game in the series, there are multiple camera distances, and there was an F-Zero game on the N64.

This game looks kind of amazing. I think I need to play it.It's obvious that all the effort went into the AI/conversation system, though. Endless near-identical hallways don't make for the most comp...

Quake 2 is a great game and I played the hell out of it, but I still wish they had made an actual sequel to Quake instead of a completely different game.

  • Nishastra posted a message on the post VinnyVania: Super Castlevania IV - Part 03.

I hope they at the very least play Rondo (not Drac X), because it is perhaps the pinnacle of this style of Castlevania.Castlevania 64 is very much its own thing, and Legacy of Darkness is the same ga...
