@extomar: I agree, but i think the currents system makes it it too easy. maybe instead of a small red dot that shows exactly where you are a big empty circle that shows the area where the sounds came from? Also Battlefield has taken the red dot on map to a whole another level of stupid by not just showing you a red dot, but a red triangle showing where the person is facing. That is beyond retarded.

@beachthunder: yeah kinda, i was hungry and had to make dinner, lol. and had just quit playing battlefield after that had happened to me and was still mad. but i stand by my point!

I hate minimpas in FPS. specifically in multiplayer. even more specifically how every god damn multiplayer shooter has a minimap that shows a red dot when ever you fire a weapon. it just makes things way to easy for other people to kill you. I mean you could fire your weapon 2 times at somebody, but then out of no where you are killed by some other guy who didn't know you were there, but he looked at the map in the corner and saw a red dot show up two times, and then kills you. it just seems like there is no skill in that. he didn't hear shots in his speakers and try to find you or anything, the game just tells you exactly where someone else is. some might say "put a silencer on your weapon then!" that doesn't work either because then you have no firepower and no range, so you still can't kill anyone. and hardcore mode just moves things to far in the other direction.

Also this is a problem because CoD came out. I'm not trying to hate on CoD or say its a bad game, I'm saying that CoD happened, and now every multiplayer shooter has minimaps and grenade indicators and fast gameplay. even Halo 4 plays so much like CoD now I don't want to play any more Halo games. What happened to trying to make your game unique to sell instead of just making it like the most popular one out there?

is there anyone else who feels this way? I can't be the only one who has noticed this trend.

Defs get Trackmania 2 Canyon and play on the giantbomb classic server, fun game, plenty of dubstep to enjoy ironically, or literally, and you might catch Jeff on there every once in a while

I think we should call him "little Bitch" or "that one bitch", because he is such a bitch.

I would like to see them do a different setting, but i can't say i would be mad with another medieval game. two ideas for a different setting that just popped in to my head could be China, when all the dynasties were fighting for control, or maybe even world war 1 or perhaps Russian Civil war? I think the China setting would be more of a fit though.
