@Kjellm87: It's reporting, but there's no pretense of impartiality. If the people writing the articles think Nintendo is doing stupid thing after stupid thing, then they're going to say it. If you really have a hard time hearing people say "Man, that's really dumb, Nintendo", then you have bigger problems than that.

@vidiots: Hate to dash your dreams of people dying because you don't like a game, but I doubt Lionhead is letting the company ride on an on-rails Kinect game.

@Ahmad_Metallic: Woahhh. Didn't intend to piss anyone off, here. It's just football.
I never said you didn't have the right to object to anything, I didn't mention anything about "WINNING = AWESOME ALL THE TIME RAAAGH".  Generally, most countries would consider making it to the quarterfinals for the past twenty years to be pretty damned good. I suppose you could consider that "shallow", but most of the time, the objective of a world football tournament is to exceed expectations and win. I was just trying to point out that I think it's a bit humorous that you can actually say that and mean it, whereas most other countries would be lucky to say "We've made the quarters! Yay!".

@Ahmad_Metallic:  I'm not attempting to imply you're saying that. Just that it's a little ridiculous to me that with the best international squad, you're still complaining about them and want them to lose.
Just about everyone else would love to have a squad that consistently good, would love to have that path through the World Cup, would love to have half of the talent that Brasil has. Yet, somehow, Brasil fans find a way to complain about it. :) The only country that could do that.

" good win.  I am against Dunga's methods, sucking the magic out of the brazillian team and turning them into soldiers.. As much as i love Brazil, i wanted them to lose this year so that Dunga would get shitcanned and replaced and the ball wizards would get invited for 2014's WC, but when i realized that Dunga is here to stay, i moved on.  No more brazillian magic on the field... the one and only thing i love the team for.  Ohwell. "

I really can't help feeling that your complaints are just sour grapes. Brasil are still the top-ranked international team and have had absolutely no problem so far (and have the easiest road to the finals) with a single team, and likely won't.

" I appreciate that the game will come with new moves, which would really be the draw... but considering they've already licensed songs for Rock Band(s), exactly how much is it going to cost to put it in Dance Central?  Do you have to pay No Doubt twice to put Hella Good in Dance Central and Rock Band?  Then MTV/Harmonix needs to start working out better deals. "
Yes, they do have to pay twice. There's a reason exporting songs from RB1 to RB2  (and Lego: RB to RB2, GD:RB to RB2, GHWT to GH5, etc. etc.) cost money; all the songs had to be relicensed for the new game. That's how it works for every rhythm game, and that's not really a matter of Harmonix/MTV working out better deals, it's just how the record labels seem to be doing it.

@mikeeegeee:  Don't worry, I get what you're saying.
Even more plaintext for those who don't: There are two objects, both consisting of the same two things, but in different amounts. They're different from one another, but have a common base. They are both good on their own accord, but for different reasons. The biggest thing that bothers me are the people who think that because two things are different, it's impossible to like both. For chrissake, they're just video games. The world will not end if I don't yell "360 IS THE BEST, PS3 CAN SUCK IT!" from the highest mountain top I can find.
That said, I now realize maybe this should've gone into an already-existing BC2 thread instead and that there's no point in this thread existing.
