My Favourite Games

This is a list of what I think are the best games. The ordering isn't necessarily accurate because I'm lazy like that and it's too hard to pick so yeah. The games I like tend to be the one's that have good story and dynamics so a lot of the entries on the list will mention this.

List items

  • Some of the best game design I've experienced. Loved the atmosphere it created.

  • Close to Arkham Asylum in terms of atmosphere with a cool story, not necessarily flawless but the Stephen King-ness and flashlight gameplay are really cool.

  • I've never been a huge western fan and I never finsished GTA IV so I originally wasn't going to get Red Dead but it turned out to be one of my favourite games of the year so far. Great story

  • Because being a child was awesome and this game made it awesomer.

  • Because I can no longer be child but I really want to be! (and it looks amazing too)

  • Despite people contantly digging at the story, I actually really liked the overblown action film storyline. The multiplayer is worth my yearly Live costs by itself too.

  • I like Transformers. This game features Transformers. The gameplay is fairly good (unlike the movie tie-ins).

  • This game got so much hype that it put me off getting it for a while. When Valve gave it away for free on weekend I downloaded and proceeded to stay up until 5am playing this game. LOVED IT.

  • There's something you need to know about me. I get nerd rage. Horrible, horrible, weary nerd rage. Modern Warfare multiplayer is very good at invoking this rage. However, Stuntman, a game classed as infuriating by most people who don;t suffer from this condition, is one of my favourites of all time. It's the second game I got on 360 (which probably helps with the nostalgia factor) but I've got nearly all the stars now, despite it being ridiculously hard (I'm not amazing at games by any stretch therefore I felt this was an achievement hehe)

  • When GTA IV broke my heart and wasn't the game I wanted it to be, Saints Row 2 was my rebound. Such a good 'fun' game with the mini games being really well implemented. The bugs were a bit irritating but I could happily live with them when the rest of the game was so good.
