Well its not only about the money. ``In 2007, more than 2,000 people were killed. In 2008, it was more than 5,400 people. The victims range from a pregnant woman washing her car to a four year-old child to a family in the "wrong" house watching television. Today, 70 percent of Mexicans say they are frightened to go out because of the cartels. The cartels offer Mexican police and politicians a choice: plato o ploma. Silver or lead. Take a bribe, or take a bullet. The Interior Secretary, Juan Camilo Mourino, admits that the cartels have so corrupted the police they can't guarantee the safety of informers or the general public any more.``
It just gets bigger and bigger, more deaths, more corrupted cops and more gangs.
This affects 3rd world counties the most, like Mexico (which is already in dier need of change) and Afghanistan but this does affect America in a large way also. `` Professor Jeffrey Miron has calculated that drug prohibition costs the U.S. government $44.1bn per year in wasted cash -- and legalization would raise another $32.7bn on top of that in taxes if drugs were subject to the same rates as cigarettes and alcohol.``. And with the fucked up economy, the death increases, gang violence, substance abusers and many more, it does affect us.``
When people hear that someone is protesting prohibition of drugs they automaticly think ``o its probably a bunch of stoners``. But at the end of the day, you guys needa realize, most drug users dont give a fuck if its legalized. They get theyre shit, they dont want the price to increase and some of us dont want it legalized. People who think people supporting de-criminalaztion are just a bunch of stoners are ignorent. I really hope they do something about prohibition soon. ``In 2006, the last Mexican President proposed legalization, and the country's Congress voted for it -- but the Bush administration went crazy. They applied so much pressure that, at the last minute, the president vetoed his own proposal.``. Obama was support in legalizing marijuana back in `04, and with the shitty economy and increase in gang violence n death i think he will give this some attension.
"Before al quada and the taliban were in power in Afghanistan that country produced 70-90% of the worlds poppy trade *opium* once they came into power that ended all most over night, once they were taken out of power....Afghanistan started producing again 90% of opium in the world.
funny isn't it? "
yeah, its fucked lol

For all of you that care / are interested in drugs and prohibition, i found a really good article on Marc Emery's FB. Im not the kinda guy that likes reading articles, but hey, if the price of pot says its good it must be worth a read. And he was right, its brilliant n a must read if ur into that kinda shit.
Obama Must End the War on Drugs -- or Mexico and Afghanistan Will Collapse
Okay seriously, im gonna go all superbad on my buddies car. It fucking broke down on us on the way to the event! So i missed about 3/4 of it, and the Smackdown Elimination chamber (main reason i went) :( ...and the shane match :(
Crazy event though! The RAW elimination chamber was ecstatic. Unbelievable how Cena got pinned, like wow, sweet! EDGE! EDGE! EDGE! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Fucking. Awesome.
And seeing him come out and shitsmash Kofi mere feet from me, pretty damn sweet. Everything else that i made it for was good. Swagger match was meh. Michaels was great. DLing the rest.
TheGamerGeek, you should just take the greyhound to an event close to you. You sound like a guy that would LOVE a live WWE event.

"I didn't really watch the PPV (Well I found one in spanish but it pissed me off without sound) but I thought some of the results (Especially the Elimination chamber for Raw) were awesome.Definitely psyched for Edge vs Orton at Mania! What'd you guys think?"
Edge and Orton. I feel sorry for the referee....lol. There will be so many low blows and eyerakes it might as well be a NO DQ match. I hope they do add some stipulation though. Your right though, itll be sweet! :D
