Love Dan, he's the best addition to GB for a while. But I somehow find this very troubling:

I haven't read the book, but to even consider subjecting your own 15yr daughter to Dan... Female DAN in the making! O_O

Good luck Patrick. You were a great addition to Giant Bomb and you will be missed.

just like the local news networks now ay. i guess it is cbs...

also, fuck apple, they don't need free advertisements :/

What can you expect? Patrick is kinda an Apple fanboy after all.

Just stop this... seriously. The apple fanboy bashing and the Patrick bashing. It's not necessary, put out something positive in the world instead of hate.

In case you haven't noticed, all Giantbomb staff (editorial staff) uses macbooks airs as their main work platform. Almost all of them also have iPhones. But almost all of them also own a PC. They just don't care what other uses, because they are mature enough to know that it doesn't affect them at all. So why can't you do the same?

The only exception to that rule is Matt Rorie, he's kinda famous for hating on Apple. His love for puppies kind of balances out the hate.

[...] Once you have killed Royce and escaped that weird countryside full of transistors and people in boxes (i have no clue what it's supposed to be, the "inside" of the transistor maybe? The farm is the same you see on the background of the final screen) [...]

I don't really know how it works, but I think they were inside the transistor. When you use your Turn(), sometimes you see the boxes highlighted with names of the people you have absorbed traces from. I guess that's how the people/functions are stored inside the transistor.

I was initially really surprised at this, considering the critical and commercial success they received for their last game Bioshock Infinite. But I can't say that this came out of nowhere though, I have been listening to their sporadic but excellent podcast and Levine said on several occasions that he misses the times when he was working in a small team. He misses the entrepreneurial feeling like he says. Those podcasts were mainly recorded pre-Bioshock Infinite. I only have good wishes for everyone that has been laid off, but I don't think they would have any problem finding new jobs.

The design might seem simplistic, but the execution matters. The game is immensely fun. You can always wait for Steam sales.

@deathstriker:

I don't really care about the pc vs console debate. But talking pure horsepower pc is much better. Consoles are hooked up to 1080p tv. PC (expensive ones) can have monitors with much higher resolution (2560x1660 for example) and runs smoothly.

The main reason I funded this project was because of Brad Muir's massive :D face.

Seriously, I feel that I already got my money's worth just by watching the Broken Age behind the scene episodes. It's so rare to be able to get a glimpse of how a game is being made.
