@humanity: I completely agree that a walkthrough is the best choice for this feature. This game's random nature makes it hard for any walkthrough to be perfect, but there are a few points that are consistent throughout each version of the game. I remember getting very badly stuck in this game playing it around the time of its release, and without gamefaqs I never would have finished it. I don't think looking up hints diminishes the value of this game.

I am so happy that they decided to return to this game. It is kind of opaque later on (classic old school adventure game logic rears its ugly head), but this game was kind of revolutionary for its time. If I recall from the times I played it in the past, the game may randomize whether or not certain characters are or are not replicants. This random nature, plus the choices you make in the story, can lead to a lot of variation between play throughs. I beat it a few times and remember it playing out slightly differently each time. Really cool game with a lot of flaws. So yeah, excited to see this continue!

Hooray, happy to see them give this a quicklook. Depending on the day, this is fighting for the number one slot on my list of favorite games this year. Really liked how it all came together in the end.

@inresurrection: While I can't say for certain, both games came out in March of 2016 so its possible those similarities are largely coincidental. Plus, both games have a kind of Dark Souls meets BLANK vibe, with Light Drifter being Dark Souls meets Zelda, and Momodora being Dark Souls meets Metroid/Symphony of the Night. So, I could see some design and aesthetic decisions converging due to similar interests.
