If you told me that my list was too full of Mario stuff, I'd say to get off my case about it. And if you told me that I was way too defensive about my dumb favorites list, I'd tell you.... shut up.

More awesome Wario stuff. Aside from the progression between levels there isn't a huge difference between this and the last Wario Land game, but that's not honestly a bad thing. Love it just like all the others.
And a fitting conclusion to the series on Game Boy (at least so far). Just wish it wasn't so short.
There's a Virtual Boy game on this list and it's a Wario Land game! Surprised? No. I always thought that red and black were actually very appropriate colors for an "evil cave exploration" game. Why doesn't this come to the 3DS Virtual Console? Seems like a very appropriate game for the 3DS.

If you like Mario 3, you've got to like Mario World. Well, not really. It's just that the two are so similar in design and quality that it stands to reason that if you like one you'll like the other....
And if Super Mario World was a refinement, then it stands to reason that this something something I liked it.
Why don't people like this? I bloody loved it. Especially all those weird platforming stages they stuck in. And why do people complain about the constant tropical island theme? I loved that too. You... people.
The Mario Galaxy games are cool because there's all this weird abstract... stuff to explore.

My first Zelda game. Of course, that's not enough to make something hold up. I really liked all the cameos and the weird stuff that happens like when you talk to NPCs while someone else is traveling with you. And of course I pick this version because it's in color and comes with the bonus dungeon.
It's like Link's Awakening, except that its got more STUFF. And also it was actually designed with a full color palette in mind.
They say that both games are great stand-alones (they really are). But it doesn't feel complete until you play through them both consecutively.
A high-water mark for the series, although you could make a strong case for Ocarina.
Beat it once. Came back to it many times afterwards, but for some reason got bored at the very end. I mean the very end, I was like an hour from finishing it every time.
I think when you have a "tradition" of going back and beating a game every year, there's a good chance you like it. Of course, there's also a chance you have a "play bad games" tradition or something, in which case whatever.
This game was cool, but I only played through it once, so... um... it's my list, shut up.
Fun story: I never played this game on a difficulty higher than the "Trainee" setting, even though I spent years on it. Those stupid robots never saw it coming.
I know this game wasn't a critical darling, but competent Crazy Taxi ripoffs with Simpsons dialogue are all it takes to make me happy.

I like this game, I really do. Never bought the sequels though. Now that they're dirt-cheap whilst used, I might pick them up. I might get Rock Band 3 even. But for now, this.
This series was another case of "I'm not going to keep buying your sequels forever dudes." But I liked this one. A lot. Still play it sometimes.
If you take out all the "BOO" moments and most of the obnoxious puzzle-solving, Resident Evil becomes a good game? Who knew?!
Big secret: I never finished this. The bosses weren't a problem, it was the scavenger hunt at the end.
