I'll say that I am one of the few PC people who doesn't have GamePass, partially because I like the illusion of owning things? And also, frankly, I like the written word for both reviews AND criticism, partially because I hate having to watch or scroll through a thirty minute video to figure out what someone thought of a game. I am still one of those very particular people who still come to reviews for purchasing advice! Or at least, to learn if something is worth my time, which is at a premium these days all on its own.
It's one of those things where... if I gotta download and install like fifty to eighty gigs of something, use up my rural internet bandwidth and precious time to play it, I might as well always have the option to, rather than risk letting my sub lapse, or, more likely, the game get cycled out of the service. I might never want to play Halo again! But I'd like to know I could.
That's different than something like FF14 or whatever, where the sub is the price of admission, a bit like going to a theme park for me, y'know?

Sometimes a person laughs at something horrible because it provokes an intense emotional response and laughing is more comfortable and less vulnerable than crying or shouting.
This texture mod really improves the game's look. Hope to see a proper remaster someday, but in the meantime, this'll do alright.
Also I sure hope Alex figures out he can disintegrate junk into omnigel soon. That'll solve his hacking problems, and even as someone who never considered himself great at Frogger it's pretty painful to watch.
