Although I liked Yu a lot more.

I've been following it since day one it aired. If anything just watch the first two seasons. It kinda goes downhill after that with a bunch of characters doing dumb shit for plot.

I alreayd have a huge tattoo so I'm not unfamiliar with the scene. The only game tattoo I've considered and think about is a Digital Devil Saga sleeve since i like the Shin Megami Tensei art and demon style.
