I feel like V is kind of the breath DMC needed. Once you get the flow of summoning demons and keeping yourself safe and crowd controlling he got more fun. He’s just insanely overpowered when you unlock his full move set.
I will say playing DMC 5 first is a HUUUUUGGGEEEE mistake since the game doesn’t even bother telling you the majority of moves since it’s all legacy and when you get to Dante and his INSANE move set it’s gonna drown some people out if you’ve never played the previous games. I was just quietly shaking my head when Abby mentioned that.
I feel ME1 and ME2 are a perfect 1-2 Punch of games. You have them establishing the world and races in the first and the 2nd jumps right in goes straight to the story. Though I do love the Ocean’s Eleven feel of the 2nd game. But being able to really appreciate it after playing 1.
Also I’m fine with Vinny giving Alex the cliff notes on some of the background stuff. Saves some time without digging through the codex and I’m sure most of us watching already know and Alex seemed to be pretty quick on picking up what thyou game is putting down (Yo this game is Star Trek as fuuuuuuccccckkkkk)
Hearing them talk about potential GotY talk and feeling a game lime Persona 5 ia gonna get left out in the cold... I feel the reason is gonna be some flimsy excuse, but damn... kinda getting bummed about potential snubs.
@teddie: slightly disagree about the 4th styles not being worth it, especially Majima's, it pretty much breaks the game and you can kill the final boss with like 4-5 counters which require minimal heat.
