I pretty much agree with @killacam's suggestions. Although i still like to have an optical drive (i just pick a cheapo one). Though it looks like you have TWO optical drives. Just get one, and if you really need blu-ray, get one that will also read DVD's.

Also it looks like that motherboard only supports PCIe 2.0 (or some other weirdness), and since most modern videocards use PCIe 3.0 you should maybe take that into account if you pick a more beefy card, which I would also reccomend if you have the money. Another compatibility issue could be your RAM if you choose to upgrade them. What you have now is 204 pin SODIMM wich is fine for your current motherboard, but (like the video card) it could be a problem if you upgrade to different RAM (the most used format is DDR3 240 pin DIMM). I would probably get at least a micro-ATX mobo instead of your current mini-ITX, it's a bit bigger which means you have more room and more connectors.

You can probably also make do with a cheaper watercooler, like the Cooler Master Seidon 120M (also on that site, though keep in mind it uses up 2 fan connectors), which is half the price of your current choice.

Best of luck with your build :)

EDIT: Changed the GPU

So I'm helping a friend build his first PC. This is the list of components I've put together, but I'd like som feedback since I'm also very new to this (only built 1 PC before). The PC will be used for gaming, and no overclocking will be done

PartProduct
CPUIntel Core i5-3570
MotherboardGigabyte GA-Z77N-WIFI, Socket 1155
RAM8 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz CL9
SSDSamsung SSD 840 Series 120 GB 2.5" OEM
HDDSeagate Barracuda 1TB
DVDASUS DVD Writer, DRW-24B5ST
CPU CoolerCooler Master Seidon 120M CPU Cooler
GPUEVGA GeForce GTX 670 2GB PhysX CUDA
PSUCorsair TX 650W PSU
CaseBitFenix Prodigy - Black
OSWindows 7 Home Premium 64 bit OEM

I already have cooling paste, in case the CPU Cooler doesn't come with it preaplied. Also I have been told that in the Prodigy case it is better to have a non-modular PSU, which is what I've gone for. What I'd like to know is whether there will be som veird bottlenecks in this system, or if some of the components will not work together (Here I'm thinking the CPU and GPU - is i5 non-K enough?). Also I'm a bit worried if the graphics card will heat the case up too much.

Thank you for your time :)

Good as far as i can tell. Though make sure that your PSU is modular, as it will save you having to fiddle with tons of cables you don't want nor need.

How do you get instructed as to what you should program? Is it just 'You guys must code the UI. It will look like this, and these bits will do this etc.'?

And how do you make sure all the systems will work together in the finished product?

The last one is what i'm most curious about, because i have always wondered how so many programmers code something that work together this well.

@jasondesante: As far as i know, if you put more names on the sign, they will also be allowed in.

so it would be like

[private]

jasondesante

-name-

-name-

But only the name on the top have the right to change the names, so remember to put your name there.

I dont know if it works with more than one sign though :(

Hi. So while working on my new project i came across a bed, chest and crafting bench. Since what i was building was already encompassing that area (and it is quite big) i have not destroyed it yet (both what i am building and the bed etc.).

If anyone owns that (coordinates are x: -1220, z: -270 - in the dessert west of the parthenon) and plans on building something awesome there (and wants me to move), send me a message and i will remove what i am building.

In the event no one responds within a couple of days (or an admin says im good to go), I will continue on building.

EDIT: since i am fairly sure i have seen it before i have proceeded to flatten the area.

I think that in order to make that work, you would have to remove the leveling system, or completely redesign it.

It could give a great incentive to play in a guild though, if you had some kind of collective storing space (guildbank). That way, people who play in groups wouldn't get hit so hard when they die, because their new character could quickly get viable again, thanks to some items from the guildbank.
