Gotta be honest here, this seems like a bad idea. You don't want to be a vagabond. I'm real sorry about what happened to you, it sounds truly awful, but this really seems like a poor idea. I think you are much better off trying to stay near your family, and finding a job. Get yourself stable, both financially and mentally, and then go and explore. The world is not going anywhere. Road trips are fairly inexpensive and a great way to see the country. Going hiking is another inexpensive way to see awesome stuff and get out of your head a bit. Again, really sorry man but really you shouldn't do this.
