I love the setting how it is. It is by far my favorite game setting. Ever.
But a couple things that have already been said probably:
1. I want a magic-exclusive character to be GOOD in Pvp or at least viable. I'm tired of bringing in my sorcerer (who owns ASS at PvE) into pvp and getting stomped by everyone. Same goes with invaders.
2. A longer game could be cool. So much to do in Dark Souls. Now imagine it was even longer *drool*.
3. Multiplayer fixes. Dedicated servers. An arena would be awesome, either solos or random teams. No estus allowed in arena. If this happen, I would of course like From Software to keep an eye on it for overpowered spells. They could even do something like Guild Wars did for their PvP and PvE: The more powerful spells in PvP that aren't too powerful in PvE are just nerfed in PvP. The PvE incarnation of that spell or skill are left alone. This would make X Souls my favorite game. Ever. For life. Until the next one.
I jacked Oswald after ringing the bell. I thought he was a statue and just took a swing. -.-. He doesn't even give you anything good.
The other day I also lost the lightning spear. I was fighting the mimic and fell down the elevator shaft like the dumbass I am... only he followed me. -.-.
So I'm having troubles getting summoned guys. I'm not sure how the whole mechanic works for it. I'm trying to help people so I can get into the Sunbro covenant. I'm SL 36 and I've been placing my sign in Quelaag all the way up to Iron Golem with very few hits. Only like once or twice. Is it because I'm too low of a level? Or too high?
It never affected my opinion of the game, but it does look silly. I would loved all the enemies just dissolving as they died. However, kicking corpses is quite fun.
You've played far enough that, if you don't like it yet, you never will. It's not a game for you, simple as that.
I was totally led into the idea that it was some fun, hard rpg. But it's not. Stats don't mean jack shit outside of what you can use, predicting moves and avoiding slow arrows? SO HARD. The hardest part about this game is the amazing lack of bonfires for whatever reason
It's not hard because you're using the drake sword, the weapon that's pretty much purposefully designed to give a huge helping hand to people having difficulty with the game.
I always get attacked by the phantom even if I'm sitting it out and a white and him fight. =[. Then he's pretty much just asking for a gank, so needless to say he gets one.
This is probably a silly question but is the channeler's set any good? I know it's heavy as hell and probably isn't too competitive, I just love the way it looks. >.>. I'll probably stick to lighter armor and drop my int/faith dual build idea and just go int. they seem to spells that are more my style. Thanks again guys. =].
