I can already push most media files (including MKV h264) to the XONE through my router using PlayTo and Shark007's codec pack, though obviously this is through live transcoding on the server-side which isn't ideal. The main problem is not being able to seek through most high bitrate files doing this. So on the occasion where things would hitch up and stop playing, I would have to start from the beginning again, or use MediaBrowser which is slightly more adept at transcoding on the fly.

Hopefully this added native support will smooth things over until DLNA crops up though. A sight for sore eyes, for sure.

I'm about 50/50 on it. I like the overall feel and aesthetic better. The face buttons are less mushy, the D-pad is an all-around improvement (even over the special chrome editions they did) and the triggers feel great.

That said, like others, I prefer the bumpers on the 360. I also prefer the larger and more rigid analogue sticks.

If given a choice though, I would probably pick up the X1 controller over the 360. The bumpers are (most of the time) a non-issue as they are rarely used for critical inputs, and the analogue sticks are more of a personal preference, born mostly out of using the 360 controller and only the 360 controller for eight years.

I feel like Jeff has already got that feature copyrighted in an envelope that he sent to himself somewhere.

I wasn't too sure about it either to be honest, but surely if Aladdin has a single page, then this should, right?

Futebol is the same game as Ultimate League Soccer with a few minor changes to teams you can play as. "Futebol" was simply the title they used when it was released in Brazil. This can probably just be mentioned on the ULS page instead?

Anyone else having problems with this game just randomly dumping to the dashboard? Have been playing for about 5 hours now and it's happened maybe 3 or 4 times. Luckily the game is always saving so it isn't that much of an issue, more an annoyance.

Haha. Spot on!

For me there is no alternative to downloading all the new 720p content (takes around 5-15 minutes per video, depending on the file size) and simply hooking up my laptop via HDMI to my 42 inch TV.

A few years ago when I joined, I streamed exclusively out of a sense of "immediate convenience", then I switched to downloading "high" quality and streaming to the xbox because A) I was sick of streaming issues (mostly my system's fault at the time) and B) the xbox couldn't handle streaming HD files. Then, I realised how simple it was to watch through HDMI connection direct to TV, and I've never looked back.

Sure, it takes a little while to download, but with each video usually lasting over 20 minutes, by the time the first one is done, I have another one waiting. No streaming problems, buffering, or whatever. Just nice crisp 720 content that I can enjoy on my big TV :)
