PS3 and 360 Review

Hello, duders. I am going to review the Xbox 360 on every possible detail and what i think of it.

REVIEW:

Does it hold?
---------------------
NO, IT DOES NOT. Remember back in the day...you played your NES right after school, you had superfun, nothing crashed, no errors or anything. Now, like 30 years later, its not like that. All the systems break easily expect the handhold systems like PSP or Nintendo DS, but the Xbox 360 IS THE WORST! This is what happened to me. I got a 360 for Christmas in 2008 + Guitar Hero 3: Warriors of Rock. Everything worked fine. Then 2 years later, it broke. I got home from work, thinking i was gonna play some Dead Rising 2, but then the RROD comes up. I get frustrated like shit, trying to repair it myself, doesn't work. So after about a few hours of trying to get it to work, i decide to get it to repair. It takes about 2 weeks to repair that rusty piece of shit, and then i get it back, go home, play Call of Duty Black Ops. One week later, BROKE. RROD again. I call Microsoft and say: ''Seriously, i got a Xbox 360 and it broke. I got it repaired, and it doesn't work. Seriously, if you don't give me another fucking Xbox 360, i'll break my fucking Xbox 360, and destroy Microsoft's headquarters!'' I apologized for my behaviour and begged nicely if they could send a new one, a Slim. They did, and i got my Xbox 360 next to me right now. So no, it DOES NOT HOLD.

Is it good?
------------------
Yes, its good. It's many Only for Xbox 360 games like Halo:Reach. Most of the good games nowadays are also available for the 360. There are also games that are well received but are not to the 360, like Heavy Rain. The quality is better on the 360 than on the PS3, Playstation Home sucks ass, while the 360 network is way better to me. More customizable, more fun, and less buggy. I know a friend of mine which has PS3 and he has a Playstation Home character, and PS Home is super buggy. There has been many complaints that its too buggy, the others don't load properly they're just completely blank. A few MB downloads can take forever and the cinema freezes all the time! AND I HATE FUCKING TESTER! And my friend never played PS Home again.Oh, lets not get to into PS3. Xbox 360 has an amazing customizable avatar, you can have your avatar as a player in GH, which is awesome. Gamerpoints are much simpler than trophies, because then the other guy or the player can see how many points you have instead of trophies, which is more confusing to me. So yes, its good.

Is the design good?
------------------------------
It's decent. Whenever you look at the Xbox 360, it looks good....whenever you look at PS3 you come back to the old buggy PS1 and it looks exactly the same as the other Playstations, it hasn't changed. If you look at the Xbox and the Xbox 360, you cant say the look hasn't changed, because it REALLY has. I like some variation, so thats good. The design isn't important, but whenever you gonna play your Xbox instead of the 360, you need to unplug some cords and shit, which is really annoying, i guess you could buy some more adaptors, but DAMN! The slim which i have, is a touch turn-on button and a touch disc eject button. Its annoying, because when i play a game and fell on the top of the Xbox 360 to fell if its warm, i end up ejecting the disc and starting the shit all over again. Annoying shit. So yeah, the design is decent, easy to understand.

Let's talk about the PS3. What's your thoughts?
-------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't like the PS3. It has an horrible online network, called Playstation Shit, where you go around and buy clothes for your character which nobody sees because the characters don't load properly, and you have to be logged into Playstation home for others too see it. You spend about 3 dollars per costume and its just burning cash. There's ads everywhere and a 40 MB download takes 5 minutes and the games suck ass. Nobody logs into Playstation Home anymore because its horrible.

Let's talk about the games. Are they any good?
------------------------------------------------------------------
The games are decent, yes. I loved Heavy Rain, ok, now im getting into too much about Heavy Rain and i will probably be yelled out or be trolled by this, but.....i loved the story, and i think that the smallest detail like that its European outlets instead of american outlets is ridiculous! Common, American outlets? Does that really matter? Christ. Anyway, back to the other games. The PS3 has amazing graphics, full of exciting gameplay, with an confusing controller? Now im talking about Dualshock 3. Hrmm...maybe its just me, but is the controller hard to understand? It took me like 1 week too get through Heavy Rain without fucking up in the first battle. Its just feels confusing to me. Great games, great graphics, and everything. But i still hate Playstation Home......

Lets recap the good things and the bad things about the Xbox 360 and the PS3 and give them a rating of 1-10, NO ZEROS!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

 XBOX 360:
Good:
1. Great games.
2.Great graphics.
3.The sound it makes on the Slim when you turn it on :D
4.Kinect.
5.Elite holds better than the original Xbox 360.
6.Great online network, i love Xbox Live, avatars are awesome.

Bad:
1. It gets warm quickly. After 5 minutes of playing it can be halfway to warm.
2.The Slim has a touch turn on button and a touch cd eject button, so i always turn off the 360 by accident.
3.You always have to unplug some cords and stuff when you wanna play another system. You have to pull out an adaptor and put in another at times, pull that cord out and stuff.

RATING: 7.9/10

PS3:
Good:
1.Good games for only PS3 such as INFamous, and Demon's Souls, and okay graphics.
2.Exciting gameplay.

Bad:
1.Horrible online network.
2.Bad design.
3.Confusing controller (Dualshock 3)
4.Trophies are harder to keep track on.

"Unplug some cords and stuff when you want to play another system."

That just means you need a new TV... and stuff.

Posted by OutOfBounds9000
@Axxol: I have an adaptor that i put in an an ''adaptor....placement thing'' so it interacts with the 360 and the television. You probably have this too, and it works, just that its annoying to always pull some shit out of there. Anyway what you think about the review? :)

I never understood this. How close do you sit to your consoles, people!? Mine is on the other side of the goddamn room, how do you accidentally turn it off?

I sit right next to it actually. And when i feel on top of it if its warm i accidentally press the eject button and i have to start that shit all over again.

But.. why do you check if it's warm? It's not like it's going to burst into flames when it gets hot. It just gets hot, and stay hot.

playstation home needs to be integrated within the PSN itself, basically just ripping of the avatar system of the 360

because right now hardly anyone goes on play-station home

It was the best review I've read this year... the only review I've read this year.
Edited by supermike6

I'm so confused. At the start you say that this is an Xbox 360 review, but then it ends up being a review of both the 360 and the PS3. And, while you do conclude with ending points for both, you only give the 360 a score for some reason.

But even that score makes no sense! 7.9? Why does a review of one of the only three consoles need such a specific score? Shouldn't you just say "I think the 360 is better than the PS3" instead of throwing in some arbitrary number (without even providing an alternate number for the PS3 to allow us to compare)? I am very baffled by this post.

I am absolutely baffled by the quality of the writing and the bias within the review. The way it's written, it's almost basically a unilateral discourse of "PS3 is buggy as hell and butt-ugly" while praising most aspects of the 360.

This seems more troll than anything, and I found it painful to read.

The NES and all those systems had no moving parts, no heat build up, and aren't compareable to the system's of today.  Why do you think old people keep bitching that cars today break down more then they did 60 years ago?

However, my friend did buy a PS3 with the hackable firmware and he can't even bother playing with it now because he says its such a crappy system.  I don't see myself getting one for a long time if ever.

Sorry about that dude :P i forgot to get a score on the PS3. I would probably give it a 6/10.

So, i'll guess i'll say it now. The Xbox 360 is better than the PS3.

EDIT: Yes at first this was supposed to be a Xbox 360 Review, but i changed my mind and forgot to edit the first row.

I know that the NES and the old systems didn't have that.

If you haven't blown into an NES catridge literally hundreds of times, stuffed a stuffed a book or another catridge in the slot to hold the game your playing down or set your NES upside-down to get it to work then you probably haven't played enough NES. In my circle of friends, to this day whenever something doesn't work someone inevitably says "just blow in it" as joke.

Don't start a post about "quality" by talking about how excellently built the NES was. It's craftsmanship was not what made that system great.

Yeah, I mean how many consoles need me to periodically open it up, dip a (dedicated) toothbrush in Windex and scrub the shit out of the connectors, THEN get some Q-Tips and repeat the Windex process with the cartridges? Not any of the modern ones, that's for sure.

Stupid purple screen of death.
