The cinematic elements sound like a good addition. One of the best thing about RPGs is the loot, and playing Elder Scrolls games in first person (as you should) you generally don't get to enjoy how bad-ass your character can look, so this might help make that cooler for the player.

I work at a sub shop and goddamn I hate prepping jalapenos and olives because of the way it makes my hands smell. Protip; wash your hands with a little bit of lemon or lime juice and that should help get rid of the smell. Works on onion too.

This is this most I've wished I still had my PS3 in a long time, just so I could play this game. Might have to pick one up again so I can play this and Skyrim when it comes out.

I can understand the distaste for fantasy. As a whole I find it to be a very...lazy genre. I can find it enjoyable at times, but for the most part fantasy stories and games take every fantasy trope and hurl them at you. It feels like if you've spent time in one fantasy world then you've spent time in them all because everyone adheres to the exact same cliches.

That being said, I very very much enjoy the Elder Scroll series and I am stoked for Skyrim.

Yes, Mac! I only rented Psychonauts back in the day, loved it and always wished I owned it, and seeing as I only have a Mac atm this is great!

Neuromancer. Sure, there already is a video game named Neuromancer, but it's way too dated to be enjoyable.

I second that.

I've always thought the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan would be a good one to make games out of. The plot's an at least decent one and there's plenty of large battles and dramatic moments that would lend themselves to some great cutscenes. The three main heroes all have incredibly different styles and branching storylines, which could make for great replay value, the One Power/magic is already set up in a way that lends itself to an interesting battle system, and there's definitely moments that you could easily see as being "boss" battles. The problem is the series is way too long and sprawling to be a video game series.

THAT would be awesome!

I concur. I'm not even interested in playing this game (all I want is a KOTOR III, goddammit) but I would definitely want to see that.

@Shrat: It probably goes without saying that the interns shouldn't pick shit questions, but hey, maybe they have instructed the interns to pick good questions. But like I said, there's not always a lot to pick from in those livestream chats, and I'm sure the interns don't want to spend several minutes scanning for a half-way decent question when Ryan asks for a question. If the quality of questions that the community provides isn't any good there's not a lot they can do besides just not take many questions. Or just not take questions altogether, but there are still good questions that get asked they answer properly from time to time -shrug-
