@SuperfluousMoniker: Having a one-off sequel to Mega Man in the same NES style was cute... but a second time was stretching it. A third one? Hell. No.

But you know it's the only way Capcom will put out a new Mega Man game... minimal asset generation, maximum profit...

you don't know what legends is do you? Your thinking of megaman 9

Of course I know what Legends is. My favorite in the franchise aside from X. I was replying to the guy's comment about hoping to see Mega Man 11.

Infinite Sadness :(

That said, I say we petition Capcom for L1 & 2 and Misadventures of Tron Bonne as PSONE CLASSICS ON PSN LETS DO THIS!!!!

Apparently the reason why this hasn't happened yet is because of copyright issues with the now defunct company that handled the voice work and localization.

THIS STILL NEEDS TO HAPPEN.

I'd like to see more games that invert the "cute-em-ups" rather than play them straight... Games that embrace the inherent creepiness of the genre.

Your point about the silent protagonist is EXACTLY why I'm uncomfortable with the speaking main character in Bioshock Infinite.

@The_Moorasaurus: That's the Shonen Jump Mascot.

@craigymail: You might want to re-think the use of the word "jap".

You know what? I'm in. I like colorful art design, I like Final Fantasy characters and I like rhythm games. Do it, Squeenix.

@Hobbies: How is he being pretentious when he's putting himself through a potentially traumatic ordeal?

An HD release of anything pre-FFX wouldn't make much sense. All the backgrounds were pre-rendered and character geometry wasn't exactly... robust. And I'm assuming you're not mistaking HD release for a total graphical remake (which will never EVER happen, and makes little financial sense).

Most likely the best contenders for HD releases are FFX and FF12, both of which I'd wholeheartedly accept.
