I have the feeling that this game's a bit buggy. I've made 3 cars so far, but I can only upgrade first two I've made. The problem is, I don't own one of them any longer since it was scrapped :/  
Hard to play now, since I can't build anything new (technically I can build new cars, I can't upgrade them).
