I'm almost 5 hours in and I'm loving it. The story has great potential to become really immersive but as of now it's pretty average. As for the combat system, I'm really enjoying it. Yeah, it's just rock-paper-scissors format but I love the visuals that go along with it. I guess I'm just a sucker for lasers and space ships. The melee parts are almost completely pointless though.  
 
Ship building, like was speculated, is extremely addicting granted you have the money to buy ships to customize. The potential crew members that you meet along the way are neat in that they all have their own specialties and can benefit you in different ways. The ship customization is probably Infinite Space's high point.  
 
I really haven't found the game all too repetitive so far. And the game really nails the space exploration atmosphere really well. The scenarios are well diversified but the plot progression is kind of slow and clunky as of the point I'm at right now. It seems like Infinite Space, in my eyes, could potentially be one of those "flawed masterpieces" that come along so seldom. Or maybe I'm over-exaggerating. Right now though my first impressions are good. I'm excited to delve deeper into the story.

Many gamers think that this is just a kiddie version of GTA. That probably hurt sales. It's sad, I'd like to see more games like this on DS.

As much of a poser gamer I am, it was buying Pokemon for the DS. I was like, "So is Pokemon only for little kids?", you know to play it off cool but I of course knew all about them and have played them for years.

I beat Resident Evil 4 15 times on the Wii.  I beat it once on the Gamecube.

I'm so confused about all these videos. But I actually kind of liked the first video. X D

1. Japanese High Schools, or at least this one, has school Monday through Sunday, unlike where I live.
2. Japan has tons of, and in my opinion pointless, holidays.
3. Japanese middle-aged nurses hit on young teenage janitors.
4. It is socially acceptable to tell someone that you are in fact "death".
